Hello there, I really like your comment! Hopsin has been 1 of my favorite rappers since I found him back in 2011. When I'm feeling down, the lyrics and emotion in his music has always comforted me! With all the chaos going on this year, I hope you're hanging in there and trying to make the most of things...TBH, even back around June 2020, I was fed up with the way things were going. So I started writing 130 lines of lyrical poetry, and at the end of August, I video recorded myself reciting it. It's acapella, no beat, and I called it "2020 Venting Session" If you have a few minutes sometime and would like to hear my honest views on society, here's a link to my video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXzboWSaZcp1r7s If you don't check it out, I won't be offended! No worries! I wish you all the best regardless :)

@@beautiful-rain55 fv was Hopsins label until this shit happened then he left and now owns Undercover Prodigy
@gicueN17R03 жыл бұрын
@@Jeddykin No, sorry... it wasn't HIS label. It was a project he worked on with his brother when his brother introduced him to Dame because Ritter had just been thru business school and they all thought because he knew the business side of things(which is definitely different than the business side of rap/hiphop) he would the the perfect guy to handle that side of it so they worked out percentages(which was a mistake) and that's where it started to go wrong. But FV was never just Hopsin's label/company. He was a partner in it. Which made him able to write what he wrote and do what he did after things were not communicated right and done right by him. Both explain it all recently when they met to discuss it all and put it behind them. I suggest you check it out on FVs channel. It's worth the watch eventhough it's 4 or 5 parts long if not more. I still think it was the right move and UP is going places. Hop is way too dedicated to music and hard working to let it fail. #StayUP
@Jeddykin3 жыл бұрын
@@gicueN17R0 Yes, you're right there, but Hopsin founded the label, he got Dame Ritter to co-partner with him (to manage all the artist etc), i was right and wrong to a degree. But I shall check out the doc on FV channel. And definitely agree with UP going places

"Change is one of the most difficult things that we face. But change is inevitable One reason we don't like change is we get comfortable where we are. We get used to our friends, our job, the place we live. And even if it's not perfect we accept it, because it's familiar. And what happens is, because we're not willing to change, we get stuck in what God used to do, instead of moving forward into what God is about to do Just because God's blessed you where you are doesn't mean you can just sit back and settle there. You have to stay open to what God is doing now. What worked five years ago may not work today. If you're going to be successful, you have to be willing to change Every blessing is not supposed to be permanent, every provision is not supposed to last forever. We should constantly evaluate our friendships. Who's speaking into your life? Who are you depending on? Make sure they're not dragging you down, limiting you from blossoming. Everybody is not supposed to be in our life forever If you don't get rid of the wrong friends, you will never meet the right friends"

@@ElectroBlissMusic Hopsin was part of a long standing label called Funk Volume (FV). Originally it featured Swizzz and himself. After, they added Jerren Beton. And finally they added Dizzy Wright. As the four of them teamed up, they decided to get a manager named Dame, who happens to be Swizzz's brother. Unfortunately, few people on the back end of things saw how Dame was shady with how he handles the team (in fact another unpopular rapper "The Joker" made a rap song revealing this). Hopsin's suspicions grew for a while until he started asking Dame specific questions about FV's financial status. And the continued shadiness/lack of honesty/fairness of how the money was split was how Hopsin lost respect for the management and led him to make this song.
