"counter strafing" isnt actually in Valorant at all , atleast not in the way people think The entire idea of "counter strafing" in CSGO was that while strafing, pressing a movement key in the opposite direction would cause you to come to a stop /faster/ than you would have, had you simply let go of your strafe key. But in Valorant this mechanic is essentially non existent. Multiple people have done the actual frame counting with precise artificial movement inputs and counting frame by frame they found that there is absolutely no discernable difference in stopping speed between 'counter strafing' and simply letting go of your movement key. And this is the case for alot of the more intricate mechanics that are such a main staple in CS like bhopping and server tick rates. All these mechanics in Valorant have been purposely tuned in such a way that they are relatively easy to pick up and understand for a beginner , without the slurry of arbitrary secondary movement properties that they dont outright tell you about, and would inevitably impact your performance in the longrun. But as a concluding statement id just like to say that Yes, doing this in game does give you a very slight advantage in the fact that you are more consistently *on the move* but it does /NOT/ give you an advantage in *stopping speed* which is the whole reason its even called "counter strafing" at all , as you're countering the effects of strafing. But yea, any perceived advantage in stopping speed from practicing this sort of thing is you simply gaining experience and understanding of the games actual movement mechanic timing and being rewarded for it *because* its consistent and straightforward.

Yo soy de las personas que suelta y lo hago igual de rápido que con counter strafe.. ya que al soltar, causa la misma función que oprimir el botón contrario, no entiendo porque hacen ver que uno es mejor que otro si técnicamente hace lo mismo, claro es verdad que soltando hay más chance de hacerlo mal pero en teoría es lo mismo

Hola horcus muy bueno antes yo paraba y disparaba en cambio ahora hago el counter strafe y lo he realizado en una Death match donde jugué con la Sheriff y me hice un overkill x7 porque orcos te cuento Yo estoy en plata 1 sin embargo en todas las partidas al no saber hacer el counter strike la mayoría de jugadores que tengo Me matan agachados y gracias al counter strafe estoy aprendiendo a contrarrestar eso horxus Gracias hermosa tus guías

Actualmente soy Inmortal 2 y he sido radiante. Nunca he utilizado el Counter Strafe. A mí siempre me a parecido cómodo Soltar y disparar. 1. 0:03 estás comparando un a+d largo (Soltar y disparar), con un a+d corto (Counter Strafe). No puedes compararlo. 2. No disparas más rápido, por hacer el Counter Strafe.

Si nos vamos a poner a alardear... Actualmente soy Radiante y he sido top 1 radiant del mundo 2 veces y 5 de Europa, llevo más de 25.000 horas en juegos shooter y soy Coach de Aim Lab (la principal plataforma de mejorar y entrenamiento de aim a nivel mundial). 1. Estoy mostrando de la forma más extrema posible la diferencia para que la gente pueda verla de verdad, no todo el mundo es experto, avanzado o conoce de lo que se habla. 2. Sí se dispara más rápido y preciso con el counter strafe porque cancelas el movimiento al instante y, además, tienes el plus de poder seguir en movimiento y seguir haciendo kills + no eres un objetivo fácil. Mi comentario no fue con intención de alardear. Lo que quería decir es que puedes llegar a rangos altos, sin la necesidad del counter strafe en valorant. Veo mucho tus streams. Espero que te vaya bien en el soloq. PD: He sido jugador profesional de CS y fuí coach para un equipo top 50 del mundo. Logré clasificar a 2 rmrs como jugador y 1 como coach. Pero amigo, soltando y disparando está dando pasos largos, cuando hace el counter da pasos cortos no creo que sea una comparación justa. Aparte valorant tiene una mecánica muy distinta al counter strike lo cual el counter strafe es lo mismo que soltar la tecla en valorsnt
