Hori Fighting Stick EX2 review and teardown | Good bones for a mod!

a year too late perhaps, but the switches that come out of your unit are Panasonic AM5 switches. Panasonic no longer makes microswitches and they are sort of sought after. (few variants exist and only one is super expensive but at the end of the day a limited amount of any variant is still kicking). Thought you'd like to know!

Some advice : The joystick mount is too small to fully house a sanwa if you mount it normally. You will have to Dremel the mounting holes and cut off the excess plastic to have a sanwa fit comfortably. Keep the same screws because you need to use those for the mount 👍🏿

@@MakeYourOwnFun no biggie, I had to wrestle with the T6 wireless versions of these sticks and if you want to preserve the case, mod the body of the lever instead.
