The girl that was with Sota (they came into the kitchen when Hori is trying to make a dessert) is named Yuna Okuyama. There is an entire story arc in the manga with her, but they skipped it in the anime (probably too many characters). It's a cute arc and there's actually a brief 2-chapter section in the manga that occurs 10 years after Hori & Miyamura graduate from high school that is primarily about Sota & Yuna (with brief mentions of Hori & Miyamura).

True, I was sad they didn’t feature it, since it mentions Hori and Miyamura being together after many years, they also skipped the ikkun chapter or Hori being depressed about her chest size, truly a shame.
