@@austingilcher6687 I am just saying because I think the previous version was bad let me explain why the character motion was very clunky and unrealistic, the animation when someone talks looks like a robot who does not understand human emotions it would be okay if the game wasn't all cinematics but when I am doing missions there are cinematics every two minutes and the variety was lacking in everything. When demon souls gameplay was released we all knew that the game would be perfect but that's because all the previous titles were perfect but in this game that's not the case

Sony should add at least 21:9 support to the PS5. Horizon Zero Dawn at 32:9 at 144fps+ on PC is mind-blowing. Same goes for Days Gone.

Ps5 could handle 4k Checkerboarding at 60fps. This would be the perfect balance. Chkbd 4k nowdays look almost native 4k like, and is not that expensive for the hardware.

Sort of a tech review here from a development perspective. First, Aloy's Hair. It's seems a bit off compared to other things and heavily clips/changes direction randomly instead of being more dynamic with collision. Sort of has a mind of its own and could be refined a little more, but it was a lot better underwater however because it didn't have the same constraints. Next, the grass doesn't seem to react to how she moves with her direction, or flatten. It just seems to spasm slightly random at times. From a technical point of view, grass flattening and movement and stuff is not too hard to implement these days. For example, they do a great job on the sand during fights, and water interactions so they've already shown that they are capable (i.e. the snow in the last game's expansion). Some of the rocks breaking during fights aren't as convincing as could be, for example check out the elephant fight, the rocks sort of just bust into dust in an odd way. Few weird lenses or artifact lighting effects around trees and between columns, being a little obvious. Animation cinematics and transitions, combat, hit reactions, are all very well done. Regardless of all that (and I'm just trying to offer some constructive criticism), Guerilla has done a fantastic job on so many things and I'm definitely excited to get my hands on this game and enjoy playing it. Super convincing environment and immersive like the last game for sure.

Superb! I've recently only upgraded to a ps4 (yes I'm behind lol) it came with 3 games which one was Horizon Zero Dawn, now usually I'd look at the cover, the back and be like hmm not for me.... BUT oh how wrong I was! I've put many hors in to your first game already and when I got to the point where it explained what zero dawn was..... The next day all I could do was talk about it to my other half in sheer excitement and bewildered at the thought of a real world been like it with GAIA. I'm actually really glad it's taken me so long to get in to a ps4 and this series as it means once this one is launched I can jump straight in and I feel like I along with Aloy have been on a massive quest.
