basically the moment you can use 1080p or above as the base resolution for upscaling, it's just free performances ,if you have a 4k monitor ,don't hold back on using dlss performance (4k from 1080p )

This game ha the best impementation of DLSS I have seen, its looks native in gamplay, well at least at 4K

I’d argue it actually looks BETTER than native because it removes all the shimmer from trees and foliage 😂

@@Matt-bg5wg So does native when you have DLAA enabled. DLAA is a much better version of TAA because it handles motion much better. DLAA is substantially better when it comes to shimmering, flickering, ghosting, and handling small meshes like wires. While TAA gets rid of most jaggies, it causes a lot of blurriness when doing so. With DLAA, there is much less bluriness, and it also gets rid of most jaggies. It's also better than DLSS because it has more information to work with since, with DLAA, you are rendering at the native resolution. With DLSS, you render the game at a lower resolution and then upscale it to a higher resolution, so that will always have some sort of reduction in image quality because there are fewer pixels on the screen, meaning there is less information to work with due to rendering at a lower resolution.

The only time I really noticed a difference was 0:46 in the distant forest and mountain.

I was getting 80-100 FPS with 4070 Ti + 14600KF on Ultra settings. With DLSS 3.5 Quality + FG, i'm getting 170-190 FPS now. Pretty good.

Still Native is native. less blur, sharper, more detail. it's like you have 1 hand and half, and want to be "normal".

Based on what ? Do you have a graphics card that supports dlss? Have you used dlss in this game?

@@thomaseruchie1262 native looks better. Dlss looks a little softer. In motion native is still better for the most part. There's a slight fuzziness with dlss in motion. Nobody is saying dlss looks bad. Native just looks all-round cleaner. Stop crying.

The new Dlss 3.7.0 gives a very good results. U can also go for DLAA instead of native.

IMO dlss looks better, its softer and that makes the image look better because the straight lines no longer look sharp and shiny. Also, dlss looks smoother, native has more of a studder overall. This tech is impressive. Nice comparison.

How can a softer image look better?..a softer image tend to be more blurry, which degraded the quality of the image/texture. You coping hard.

I could hardly notice the difference between Native and 4k. I had to pause the video and look into it carefully pixel by pixel to see the difference in quality. It is very little and something you wouldn't notice while playing the game.

all this ultra optimization stuff is all criclejerky bullcrap. cause after a certain point differences are so subtle that they literally bring zero impact to the experience.

Yeah that's why i use dlss quality at 4k personally. I get around 100 to 110fps average while at native 4k with dlaa were i get around 80 to 90fps average so yeah. Not big difference but still. I have an ryzen 9 5950X and rtx 4090.
