I'm playing on PS4 and loving it! It's a beautiful game and it's surprising that it's so smooth with so much detail in the scene and such a dense map. Loving the story too! Aloy is one of my favorite characters of all time.

@@LB14745 AC Valhalla actually looks and plays pretty amazing on PS4. Mind you, AC Origin, a much inferior AC game to Valhalla (graphics wise) played like shit on PS4.

@@RARufus a lot of people underestimate how much can be squeezed out of an older system given the right optimization. Far Cry 6, Watch Dogs 2 & Legion, AC Valhalla, Spider Man, Ghost Of Tsushima, god Of War, Death Stranding, are all amazing looking open world games running really well on PS4 and/or Xbox One Even the Switch can output way more than we initially thought was possible. Heck, even Crysis was released on Xbox360 and PS3 lol

Not really, there's a lot of really great looking open world games on last gen consoles (PS4 & Xbox One)....Ghost Of Tsushima, Spider Man, god of war, Death Stranding, AC Valhalla, Far Cry 6, Watch Dogs 2 & Legion....etc

@@TooToo246 all those games are really good and bought something new to the table except for watch dog and AC Valhalla but what I’m talking is just excuses that developers make like battlefield, halo, CYBERPUNK , madden 22, back4 blood your kinda proving my point but anything Ubisoft is just rinse and repeats recycled trash then release it finish then make some kind of excuse

Its a Cross generation Project. In order for the crossgen to work, they need one host platform for development from the previous generation which is the ps4 pro... I think they develop the game on ps4 pro, instead on base slim ps4.. Ps4 is using 1080p dynamic chekerboard resolution, it can go down at 800p resolutions its so fucking blurry, chekerboard rendering is very visible to the eye on ps4 slim.. Ps4 pro fix 1800p checkerboard resolution, the same implementaition on ps5 performance mode,. Ps4 pro image is very decent with better draw distance, and texture filtering .. I think this is the last 1st party game for ps4, they already push the ps4 to the limit, and this is the first time they use dynamic chekerboard rendering on base ps4 they push it very Hard.. For the first time Ps4 pro is the chosen console for the development, ps5 is the port version with the highest preset settings

I loved the underwater missions, however I wish we could fight while underwater. Also just want to mention we're the developers trying to make Aloy look like a mermaid? Lol

We were supposed to be able to fight underwater from what i know ! But that feature got scrapped during development probably due to time constraints.

I know its a stupid detail to ask, but anyone know how to jump into the water in a dive? I don't like Alloy just canon balling into the water. Is there a dive button?

I think you need to hold circle when jumping off into water. Doesn't work from greater heights thou. I tried doing a dive from atop the golden gate bridge and it didn't let me.

It works indefinitely. You can glide from atop a mountain to the very bottom :D

Yes, sometimes the system can't keep up with the streaming of the world and it just goes to a black screen until it catches up with the action.
