Horizon Forbidden West Speedrun with Commentary - NG+ Ultra Hard

This a Horizon Forbidden West Speedrun with full commentary through out the run. The category is NG+ on Ultra Hard difficulty, the hardest difficulty in the game.
Wanted to practice my commentary for this game since I will be doing my first marathon run of this soon. Also a lot of people had asked for a run with some explanations to better understand what is going on. This was not the best run gameplay wise but the commentary was solid and made up for it. So hope you enjoy it.

instead of hopping when you fell go to the left machine poles appear and you can climb to get up there faster

I'm 34 minutes in and I gotta say - this is incredibly entertaining to watch! I'm really glad I found your videos on H2FW :-P Impressive playthrough, especially when you take into consideration that you narrate the entire thing while pulling off the speedrun. Very nice to watch, and very much GDQ-worthy if you ask me! :D EDIT: 37 minutes in and you're explaining that you're practicing for a commentary + speedrun you're going to do in a couple days lol

might be helpful to now that fast travel point to tallneck mostly bugs out when having (main)quest active, mostly with main quest. from what i can tell it does not happen when not any quest is selected and also seems not to happen with some of the side quest. Not sure if it would save you any time but it might help to deselect the current quest or to select some other side quest earlier on so it won't randomly select a new one when completed. i'm hoping this might help you out. I love watching your runs.

Thanks for this commentary =) Is there any reason (maybe the speedrun rules) you don't start the NG+ run with a Charger in your "inventory" ? It should be useful to gain some minutes on your run.

The game takes away your mounts when starting NG+. Otherwise we would of cause start with a mount and sunwing.

verryyy late reply but that depends on your console. if you play on a ps5 it should be pretty fast but it'll be even faster if the game is installed on an additional ssd.
