Horizon Hobby - ASK-21 UMX - New Brushed Motor Flight
This flight in windy, gusty, and confused winds helps you to appreciate the power that this ASK-21 has now with the new Radian UMX brushed motor. Does the motor make the whole thing worth while??? I think I'll have to fly it on a calm night, and maybe I can use the tow release prop to stop the brushed motor somehow. Then with motor breaking, I bet this bird would be really nice flying!

This little ASK-21 is so beautiful! Only warning I'll share with you, if you fly her, she will break, as she is quite fragile, but what's the point of a plane, if not to be USED, right...do it! You'll love it!

Brian Phillips Fragile? What I was doing to mine....aero towing, bungee on high winds....had no problems at all, mine is stiff and almost unbreakable. I'll just have to figure out where to find and purchase motor, since there is no RC shop in my country and buying parts you have recommended from USA is quite expencive for me, postage is too big.

I high-lined the thing, and the wings looked like a "V". It was a bit scary. When I attempted slope soaring, ineffectively I might add, the wings cracked at the root of the ailerons (both wings), the fuse broke in half just behind the wing mount, etc... Lots of little crap, but in my experience, nothing out of the ordinary for a scale UMX plane.
