Wow....I am in fact watching this film right now. (The girl is crawling on top of the plane -pouring liquor into the gas tanks). -Her hairdo doesn't really change that much... Anyhoo, that's where I am at - in the movie -at the moment. -Fortunately, I have already downed 1 & 1/2 bottle of wine. -I have a little bit of flying experience. - I don't think I could watch this without some alcohol... Let me see if I can get this. There is a dead guy lying on the floor of the small airplane which goes around in circles and loops and, defying all the laws of gravity, he is still (really still) there, there is another guy who goes out of the plane in midair to fix a leak in the tank with duct tape and there is a girl who also goes out of the plane in midair to fill in the tank with rum and nobody knows if they made it to the wedding ceremony? If you get really stoned on weed, and then drink a pint of tequila, start watching this movie ALONE, after a hit of X, so nobody else will make fun of you ... you could possibly, on a really good day, not be too awfully sorry you wasted a perfectly good buzz for the last couple of hours. But be aware.... if you think afterwards you could have gone bowling, or done laundry .... that glimmer of accomplishment with slugging through a dumb movie will overtake your brief accomplishment of not wasting your life away.

No one in this movie has even the slightest idea of how planes work: Opening the Door will cause a ton of Drag and will burn way more fuel than what they could save by removing weight Planes don't work with Rum nor people should drink plane fuel Water in the fuel mix like when you add rum or leave the fuel cap open is very dangerous If the engine Stalls, you must pull a mechanical system that releases the propeller from the engine and changes its angle to let it turn with the wind again to avoid drag and let it glide otherwise it will lose speed too fast.

I am actually watching this film right now. -I put it on pause (I just finished the scenes where the guy crawls out of the plane ...to the motor (and puts a piece of tape on a leaking fuel line. -And when he was crawling back...the girl ties a seatbelt to the yoke...and helps him in. But...when he was safely back into the plane, she didn't hurry back to grab the controls or anything like that ! Noo...she hugged him and coo-ed him and made sure he was feeling better... ...and that's where I am now (with the film on pause). -Now, I don't claim to be a full-fledged pilot, or anything like that. But I do in fact have about 10 hours in a Cessna. -And I must! say that this film is ASTOUNDINGLY ridiculous. I almost don't know where to begin....but let me say this: If she did in fact take 2 lessons a few years ago....and suddenly the pilot dies, -she could DEFINITELY land the plane ! The actual job of "steering" the plane through the air is so easy that anyone can do it. -She could most likely land the plane...however, that *might* go wrong. Still, they both would probably be ok after a botched landing (but in fact she would probably have made an OK landing. It's not that big a plane. -Even after my (few) flying hours, I could still land an *actual* 737 simulator - a few years ago ! Anyhoo... ...very *strange* film !
