Much like how when the 6 Creed came out, I convinced myself that it was the .243 I always wished for (although now I see they’re making fast twist .243’s), I believe the .22 Creed is the .22-250 I always wished for. I think Horizon holds the licensing rights for .22 Creed, so we’re not gonna see a lot of factory loadings for it for a couple of years, but I’ve had my eye on these rifles for a little while. Saw one at a gun show and handled it, and like you said, it appears to be a quality piece.

I just read an article from Rifleshooter and it talked about this new round and this gun. What is weird to me it that the article spoke about how they tried developing a 22-243 but it just didn't cycle well but the 6.5 Creedmoor cycled great. To me there seems to be a lot of disinformation and hyping on the Creedmoors in general. A .243 Winchester is based off of a .308 Winchester that is just necked down. A 6.5 Creedmoor is a necked down .308 Winchester case. So how in the world will a 22 Creedmoor cycle off of a 6.5 case but not a .243 case. The bottomline is that i wouldn't buy any Creedmoor anything and I'll stick with classic and proven cartridges. Remember when the WSSM were a big thing? Nearly gone now. Speaking of that there was the .22 WSSM now obsolete.

OK, lets get in to this. First, nothing you said is wrong or false in any way. The 243 uses a parent case of 308, which is the starting point for many large short actions. Second, Creedmoor is just a name to put on your round to get people to notice it, as the hype from the 6.5. Third, more than one thing can be true at the same time, Creedmoor is just hype, and 22 Creedmoor could be a very flat shooting and useful caliber. I would not write it off just because of cheap marketing, but also, dont fall for cheap marketing. Seems like you see right through the branding, just dont limit yourself because of it. PS I would love to have a few cases of 25 WSSM just to sell to fund my gun habit for a while.

@@RattlesnakeDefenseI guess what put me off about the Creedmoor stuff is ol Ron. He had a campaign touting how superior the 6.5 is over everything else, BC, BC, BC. I get that the guy is bought, paid for and that's how he makes his bread but it's TIRING to witness. And I'm just traditional....mostly: I have great shooting 22-250, besides 22lr's right up to a 375 H&H. The only "newer" caliber that I fell for is a 300BLK and I just love the thing. I expected it to be a pumpkin shooter with it's little 7.5" brl but it has proved to be pretty incredible to 200 yards suppressed and with subs, after that I run out of retical. And that 300BLK with it's mild recoil and being very quiet got my daughter at the range which is great. I used to be in the firearm industry, a little mom and pop fun store. When the WSSM's came onto the market i sold quite a few, especially the .300. People found out they had lower recoil and were really accurate. And again I get the whole marketing thing but is a Creedmoor really that much better than a .243, .260, 7mm08, .308 or in this case a 22-250 with a 1:8? Maybe, but will it last or turn out to be so minor that most people really don't care?

@@boygirlandadad5814 22 CM is the flattest commercial cartage that is available in the market. It is like the 22-250 with more impact and way better BC. I think it is here to stay,

I ordered a "left handed" Vandal back in Feb with a 90 day lead time. Order #5659. Since then I have called them once to make sure the order went thru properly a couple days after ordering then again 60 days in and again 90+ days in. Each time I was told that my gun would be checked on and I would be called back promptly. I have not received the first phone call, text, nothing-nada! This is a piss poor way to do business. I was fine with the 90 day wait BUT I am NOT ok with the complete nonexistence of customer service that These guys obviously lack!

Correct on the nonexistent customer service. Took 7 months to get a Venetic carbon that didn't group, they have had i back now for a month. Only get a response when they get around to it, usually takes 2 or three tries

Tell you what, you go and enjoy the other reviews on this rifle. If I shoot the video facing me, people complain they can't see the target. I shoot from behind, and people complain. If you want me to work on the camera angles, fine, I will try to do better, but please don't be a comment section troll.
