I think leaving your mistakes in your videos is awesome. With social media we see perfect finished results or near flawless processes but that's only because all mistakes are edited out, and it can create certain expectations that intimidate and discourage people when they paint. Plus it gives a better understanding of your thought process. Keep being awesome!

Making mistakes is all part of the process, man! I would much rather see someone make mistakes and show how they correct said mistakes in any given video, because it humanizes the creator and shows that we all make mistakes. It's how we correct said mistakes that matter. Good work as usual, Don!

Don't worry, the mistakes just show us you're a regular human. Knowing how to fix mistakes is important, cause we're all going to make them.

Great job, as always, bro! I do not understand why some people find enjoyment in pointing out other people’s mistakes. We all make mistakes and it’s a good thing because we learn a lot from them. You have always been very honest in your videos mentioning when you realized a mistake was made and what you did to fix it. That should be it. Critiques are valid when they are constructive and not just meant to sneer or glee. Ignore the trolls and enjoy what you do! Ciao!

That turned out great! Really loved the burning eyes! As for the mishap of painting the Thunderjaw mostly white. Well, I wouldn't have had any issues with that, as it's what I plan to do myself, once I actually get around to painting my HZD boardgame. Wasn't going to comment on this part really. But.... But people who complain about you leaving mistakes/mishaps in the videos, and shows everyone how to fix them, must really be master painters themselves who never makes any mistakes. If so, then show off their work and if not, then just stfu. (Excuse my language) Everyone makes mistakes. The difference is that most YT'creators doesn't show that footage. Which, imho, is a wasted opportunity in teaching people how to fix things and that mishaps isn't the end of the world. Keep up the great work!

I chose not to chose that sponge chipping again over the coloured armor parts though... Kinda redundant with the previous sponge chipping segment. Honestly i like the model, just white. I hate that I saw some colorful references. Thanks for watching! ☺️🎨🎨🎨

@@DonSuratos I'm not sure if I can budget that in with an airbrush would using a gloss spray paint be alright and then using cheap acrylic to paint over it work?

@@zeeshannaveed3899 Use a matte spraycan primer or matte black spraycan paint. That will work. But I cannot recoomend cheap acrylics though. Cheap acrylics can be frustrating. 😊

Did the client request really saturated colors for the panels? It seems kinda garish compared to the source material.

So many references, some are bright colors, some are dark olive green. Played it safe by painting it bright. Easier to darken or tone down if need be.

Jipé said already, but FYI even Golden Demon Winners do mistakes all the time, in every model. The majority just edit them out of the vids. People just seem to like an unrealistic approach to reality, be it heavily photoshopped young people on Instagram, heavily post produced paintjobs (contrast and color adjustment to make the pic look better instead closer to how the mini looks IRL) or flawless execution vids. Yet they need to realise that sometimes an artistic approach to painting is to not know what you are doing ATM. It's not like you have a scripted plan you follow from start to finish. The only set in stone steps are that primer is always 1st and varnish is always last (if any). I've been watching your vids for some time now but never dropped a comment, but I had to, as I noticed lately, you talk about people leaving kinda pantsy comments. I can safely say from all the painters I follow on KZbin, you are the worst of them, but hey, how could that mean you are bad at painting? That's far from the truth indeed. The fact there are mind blowing painters out there makes everyone else and his mother's paint jobs look worse. But worse is not a synonymous of bad. Your vids are quite fun, entertaining, and charming enough for me to watch you over Trovarion who in example is a force of nature but makes thicker videos so I have to carefully choose the moment I want to sit and watch them. There are times for soup and there are times for a cold beer. To each its own. Keep on the good work, it's like you're delivering solid Golden Lemon level videos every 2 days. And I love it! Sigue así 👍 Saludos!😉
