Just got my Blade 450 3D. Best RTF I've flown to date. It's incredibly smooth, tracks well, and it will piro flip well out of the box once you switch to the advanced settings. Excellent job Mikal and team.

If you are flying the MSR right now and are planning on getting the Blade SR next that would be good. From there you should be able to step into teh Blade 450 without much issue. Good luck.

Just checked the price on LHS for the BNF and holy cow... I just bought a trex 250 for that price...! Looks promising :D

Would installing the eflite heli 450 bl outrunner 3600KV EFLM60450A over the stock motor increase performance on the 450X?

Thank god John calmed down a lot compared to the mCP X 'review'. The heli does not convince me though - if it was flybarless and reasonably priced I might have bought one as a successor to my mCP X.

Im either getting this or the trex 250 for my first cp heli (: I have and fly the funcopter so im moving on up. I like the trex because of its size but not liking the price.

@krazymoutenbike I've had the msr for well over a year and just moved up to the sr last last week. There's a lot of good and bad stuff about the heli, one of the most major problem's being the tail wagging issue. The motor driven tail rotor is junk and it's in desperate need a of a belt driven variable pitch tail rotor. Be carefull, either one of these heli's fly VERY different than the msr! I've heard many people say the 450 is actually easier to fly than the sr.

EXTRA'S: lipo(totaal 2x), pitch gauge, servo, servo arms, servo puchrods, frame, landing skid, tailboom+sopports, main gear set+one way bearing, flybar weights, bladegrip, XT60/EC3 overloopje, en verder is hij compleed in doos met de boekjes, zie fotos.

Seriously!!! When will this heli be released??? I have been waiting since FEB and getting really sick of Horizon stringing us along. I have sent numerous emails to Horizon and the only time they responded was with the following... "Thank you for contacting Horizon Hobby Product Support. Horizon Hobby Product Support is as in the dark about the release date as you are. Sorry." Obviously Horizon dont know what they are doing and dont care about customers. Sad but true.

Should be flybarless they really miss the potential. They could have dominated the market but this falls short.

Aluminum head block now? Come on... the other brands doing aluminum head and tail years ago! the plastic parts sell as much as other brand alloy parts. The tail servo mount stype is old school... and oh yeah.... Those carbon parts, full alloy tail and head.... Those are stock with other brands... Plastic canopys break soo easilly. Its just bad choice... makes the kit feel like a plastic toy. I look at Trex and all the CF body, FULL Metal servos, FULL alloy head and tail Torque Tube...MACHINES!
