Just today I saw a short by Dr. Karan, who mentioned that there are studies that show that washing foods with water vs. vinegar barely shows any difference aka you CAN spare yourself the stink of vinegar and the whole work by really washing thoroughly with regular water. I loved to hear that cause I really dislike the smell of white vinegar. :D Thank you very much for all these interesting and nuanced details on the topic. I particularly loved how you prefaced everything with stress being potentially more damaging than these chemicals and how it's important information but nothing anyone should get stressed out over, either!!

What has the greatest impact are the things our leaders do to us. I have already given birth to 3 children and I now believe that my children deserve better than what is happening. I find it reprehensible that people are only concerned about genetics, because it is others who are responsible for this and they should simply accept their responsibility and stop the war before people storm parliaments. I have the feeling that my fellow human beings are being underestimated, as if people would allow themselves to be oppressed forever, as if Gaza and what is happening there is not clear enough, do they want the same conditions here too? That is what it will come down to, we already have a lot of anger here. They think we are stupid... Here in Germany, the rights of people with disabilities are held in high esteem, even though they are restricted and oppressed in all areas... I am no longer prepared to subject myself to this oxidative stress, I have paid enough, enough is enough!

I'm German, too, and while I can see where you are coming from and several concerns are particularly valid, I must also say that this goes a bit "over the top" and "off topic". It's easy to step out of our own responsibility to acknowledge how navigating life and systems is very very difficult. Framing things as "Some small groups of individuals not doing their job" is simple. But in reality, literally every single one of us make choices to contribute to the improvement or worsening of problems. AND very often we are not even aware of it, because things are not actually as simple as you put it. In fact, every single thing comes with positives AND negatives and what humans are trying to do, is to navigate that AND how even individuals will NOT agree on which of the aspects belong to "positive" and which to "negative". You sound exhausted. I find that incredibly relatable. Especially as a person with health struggles and a neurodiverse brain type. And I would like to suggest that you actually rest and find out what gives you rest (that can mean some degree of activity). From there, please do make all the choices in your power to reduce stressors on your personal individual level. It'll help everyone. And from there, pleas be kind and do not set yourself up for failure like this. When you assign "blame" to "some ppl up there", you have no chance. Nothing can be done about it. Replacing them does often not actually fix things, as - who would have thought - life IS actually quite complex and challenging AND a lot is even utterly outside our (and their) power, too. I am not saying "look away". I am saying: Please, please, please let's bring the focus back to the things we all CAN actually change. The next steps we CAN actually change. Do not give your precious energy into "blame games", that result in nothing but a lot of tired out ppl on BOTH ends! It's not effective! We cannot currently afford to be that wasteful.

Good video. I think you done a good job educating people on synthetic endocrine disruptors. Are you able to do a video on food based endocrine disruptors, especially anti-androgens in our foods, and supplements? Just as important, because a lot of foods and supplements can cause chemical castration, especially when combined, so anti-androgenic diets are often consumed by males and they're self castrating themselves without their knowledge. For example, Some heavy hitters under the guise of "health" appear to be polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats, eg. Dihydrotestosterone inhibitors, testosterone blockers, AR receptors inhibitors/blockers.

@KxNOxUTA
@KxNOxUTA 4 ай бұрын
What matters is the type of plastics and the question is also, if your meds are stored in plastic or you're just using a syringe for a short moment to take up the meds and apply them. Which makes a huge difference. Plus, here in Germany I've once gotten syringes to give stuff against blood cloths into his belly fat while his foot was in a cast. And because I am a very curious and crafts loving person, I took those self-retracting syringes apart (with safety gear on and after disinfecting the needle and everything). 🤩 Turns out that inside that plastic syringe with a metal spring for self-retraction after placing the shot, there was actually a very slim and not well visible mini GLASS syringe body inside the plastic. That was SO FASCINATING. What I am trying to say (and I'm not American and I do not know exactly how insulin is given), but although the plastic syringe body was transparent, I did not notice that the inside is a perseverate glass body until I took them apart. So I'm saying: Careful with assumptions unless you are really really really sure. Cause turns out that sometimes syringes are not that simple at the first glance. And again, if you only use it for the shot itself then that by itself will mean barely any plastic gets dissolved and the rubber gliding along the walls tends to glide smoothly. The concern with plastic items and foods is, that the fluids stay in long or are acidic or heat gets involved. Short exposure of even acidic substances without heat are not the same :3

1. Regarding BPA... A) Can it not be the case that people who eat more foods that come in BPA containing plastics (probably less healthy foods), and who use a lot of products that come in BPA packaging (likely cosmetics, etc., which are both full of other chemicals, and often used to remedy other issues which may be causes in and of themselves), have sex hormone and sexual dysfunction effects as a result of those things, and not directly because of the BPA? B) How much BPA in one's blood is supposed to be essentially not worth worrying about, and how does that correspond with the average amount in the US population? 2. Regarding phtalates... A). When you say people eat 1ng/kg per day of phtalates, is that per kg of bodyweight, as your comment abouthaving more fat seems to suggest, or is that per kg of food? B) Is a 5-8% change in testosterone even worth being concerned about, if one is still within the normal range (or at least within a certain range, if "normal" includes levels that are considered low enough to negatively affect functioning)? C) Can 't a BMI of 28 not cause at least some of the hormonal effects? Was that controlled? D) Is there any human data regarding penis sizes, or is that study likely an extreme case with levels of those chemicals far higher than average human exposure levels, in a non-mammalian species (reptiles are subject to a number of effects that aren't similar in humans, such as certain ones having their sex determined by egg incubation temperature). E) How much of a sperm health decrease is worth being worried about, given how many sperm people produce, how often we can have sex when trying to conceive a child, and how few children most people want? General: What kind of effects can we expect to notice (not statistical significance, but clinical significance/quality of life effects), from any of these things, and are they actually worth concerning oneself about, or is it a waste of time or even a net negative to stress oneself out trying to avoid all of this stuff, if one is pretty average in terms of exposure in the US?

Limit exposure where you can, and low T/hormone dysfunction can cause issues with mood, motivation, ability to gain muscle mass, brain fog, and libido. Raising my testosterone has changed my life, the biggest difference for me has been lifestyle changes. Exercise, sleep, sunlight, and diet are the biggest factors.
@Christian-rs2ht
@Christian-rs2ht 3 ай бұрын
5-8% difference in testosterone can sometimes be noticed, especially since these changes are accompanied with other hormone problems. Penis size will only be affected during puberty, good hormone health and high testosterone will achieve optimal size. Sperm count/quality definitely matters as very few actually make it to the egg, and the quality will affect the child to some degree.
@Youttubeuser20932
@Youttubeuser20932 3 ай бұрын
@@Christian-rs2ht What I’m curious about is whether it’s even worth having to consider this stuff, at the average levels found in actual human exposure. Sure, 5-8% of testosterone can make a noticeable/worthwhile difference, in some cases, but I want to know if it makes a worthwhile difference if you are already in the healthy/normal range. If one has low testosterone, then any increase should be beneficial. If you’re not, it may not even be worth it. It’s not as simple as “more testosterone is better”. Trying to optimize everything is stressful, and that stress can be harmful and lead to a net negative effect. The whole point of any of these health practices is to increase wellbeing. Once it starts having the opposite effect, it defeats the purpose.
@Christian-rs2ht
@Christian-rs2ht 3 ай бұрын
@@Youttubeuser20932 yeah I would say its worth it, considering that if your testosterone levels are dropping, other hormones may be dysregulated and that can definitely have a noticeable impact on your well being. Sure, stressing over it isn’t great but that’s why I said just limit exposure where you can (do the most you’re willing to do without stressing yourself out). And a 5-8% difference in testosterone will be barely if at all noticeable, but that coupled with other hormones being regulated can most certainly impact you.

Start with zinc & boron. Broccoli sprouts maybe useful. Low carb, higher animal fat, eliminate refined soy, corn, sunflower, canola/rapeseed, etc to lose visceral fat. Avoid grains, sugars, pesticides, plastics and pesticide sprayed crops especially crops in which herbicides are sprayed to kill the grain or legume to dry it prior to harvesting.

@@man_at_the_end_of_time What are you on about? 😂 No, we don't need to cut carbs (just look at any athlete), we should minimise saturated and trans fat as they increase cholesterol, soy is perfectly fine, same thing goes for All other things on that list. In the end we gain or lose weight by changing our calorie balance, and our weight, fitness level, sleep and hydration is pretty much all we have to make any impact at all on hormones.

@@PSA78 I'll agree trans fats are a problem. But we have a population that is metabolically sick even most of your athletes fade out and get fat. You are trapped in conventional practices and expectations.

@@man_at_the_end_of_time They might eventually get fat if they don't continue to practice what they have, if they get fat that's when they could get metabolic issues, not the other way around in a otherwise healthy individual. That's why people can follow a plethora of different diet types and still improve health, they clamp calories to lose weight and typically change their lifestyle so it incorporates resistance training, good sleep etc.

Why isn’t estrogen decreasing How come testosterone is affected so much 🤔
@interestingtimes6242
@interestingtimes6242 4 ай бұрын
Estrogen is increasing, in both men and women, pesticides like glyphosate being one of the primary culprits. Girls are going through puberty younger and younger, boys are going through puberty later and later. We got sexually active 13/14 year old girls and 21/22 year old virgin boys all over the place. Some of the boys never finish puberty and won't without a shot of testosterone. Chinese doctors have been using Soy Lecithin to counteract the effects of menopause in women for a thousand years, and we've decided it makes a great food additive for everyone.

It depends on the count, but one testicle can produce enough for pregnancy. But if you're looking for family it also depends on the fertility of the woman ..
