In this video we review the various Hornady A-tip projectiles that we have available as well as the powders that we may use to start load development. Looking for audience input to what powders everyone is most interested in seeing tested. Projectiles are the 110, 135, 153, and the 230 gr.

Yes!!!! 6mm and 6.5mm if you have or can find any, Reloader 26! But, RL16 should be some good testing

For both 6.5 A-Tip bullets, 135 & 153, I’d like to see RL 16. Even though RL 16 wasn’t a choice on the poll for the 153, maybe eventually you could try it out.

Great videos buddy, very informative, I’ve been getting great results .3/.5 moa’s from Vhit N560. In both a 260 with 140s and 147s . I am looking forward to giving my lapua small rifle brass a try with the same powder and 135s and 140eld m in the creed next week

Reloder 33 on the 300WM will work too RL16 and 26 and H4350 for the 6.5 and 6mm CM

The 6mm a-tips shoot great in my 6mm creedmoor seekins precision with a 1:8 twist. Stability factor 1.41 traveling at 3020 FPS with 41,3 grains of h4350 nosler brass 210m primers

Make ready for a great 2020. Berger has released the 144 Gn Hybrid Boat Tail Target and 156 Gn Hybrid Hunting in 6.5. I spoke with them about results in .260 Rem and they will talk with you about pre-publication data but will not e-mail you the same. Reloder 16 produced exceptional velocities.

The 153g bullets really need a slower powder like RL-26 or IMR 4831 if you don't care about temperature sensitivity. H4350 and 135g Berger Classic Hunter bullets go together like peas and carrots. The 135s are right in the wheel house for H4350.

Was testing rl-26 with the 153gr 6.5 in starline brass started at 44.0-45.0 at 44.8 had a avg mv 2745 sd 8.0 es 24 it was the best 5shot group at .600 no doubt the 6.5prc could produce 3000fps with this projectile! Btw never hit pressure with a very compact load

Why not H1000, IMR 7977, IMR 4955, IMR 4451, then to a lesser extent StaBall 6.5. For the 110gr. Hornady A-Tip in 6mm. I use more single base powders for the same reason why the ordnance department of the DOD, specified single base powders be used for OHF ammunition be fired in machine guns during WW2.

Have you tried or know anyone that has tried the Shooters World 4350? It seems the H4350 is almost unattainable, or possibly I’m not looking in the right places. I was wanting to try some RL16, RL26 and H4350 for my 6CM but can’t find any H4350

As of late h4350 has been almost everywhere that I have seen, but haven't needed it. Reloder 26 seems to be mostly what others can't seem to find. I finally ran into a couple pounds of h1000, but if I ramp up the 300 win mag testing again it will be gone quickly.

Only my left kidney and right lung. (More balanced that way and lighter) but with the sale they were 56 cents a projectile basically. A lot of interest in these right now and they dont sell them in factory ammo. If you can get them for this price your still under the cost of any factory ammo you can get.

I have enough to do the testing I want. (At least I think) anymore I avoid buying bullets from midway due to poor packaging, but they way these are packed they would probably be ok.

Bolt Action Reloading it will be interesting on how they stack up against bergers at almost twice the price not on sale, yea im not big fan of getting midway boxes full of bullets rolling around either, usually half of which have fallen out between here and the warehouse

I have some of the 144 Berger's on the way as well. Which are about 50 cents each. Berger makes great stuff if just seems that occasionally they run out of the real popular stuff and then you worked up a load for something you cant get your hands on unless you pay for unobtainium. Hornady has been great about having products on shelves and usually performance is pretty darn good.
