My hornady 30-30 Winchester dies worked great so I bought the 45 auto set but I'm new to reloading in general so I wasn't aware I needed a taper crimp die though I did know autos headspace on the case mouth to prevent entry into the chamber. I learned the hard way that this set didn't have everything I need to successfully reload my 45 acp cases which is irritating and I'm stuck buying an extra die I felt should come with the set being its labeled as 45auto/ar/win they should correct that and not have the auto on it if I can't load them without having to buy a separate die...I was disappointed with this set but my 30-30 Winchester set is great I use it a lot

I completely agree; I wasted a couple hours this afternoon trying to understand why I couldn't get my .45ACP's to taper crimp correctly...didn't realize that Hornady would send a roll crimp die with a die set designed for a cartridge requiring tapered crimps.

Does this set have all the guys you need I thought they are supposed to come with 4 not 3
