Thank you for making this video. It’s very comprehensive. I just replaced the batteries on this lock but it won’t power up to allow fingerprint usage or code entering access. Do l have to reinstall the app to have these working again? Thank you.

I have a hornbill Smart Door Lock and having some problems: Most of the time I try to use the app (Smart Life), it will not connect, even standing next to de door. I get the message “Tap to connect the device”. I do have to try many times after it connects. Another problem is that the Bluetooth gateway will not connect. I am standing next to the smart lock, it will recognize and then start installing it, but in the end it will not work. I get a message saying: “Bluetooth gateway failed to add the device” Fingerprint and password work fine. Any idea how to make it work?

This was great except that I wish you demonstrated using the gateway. I ordered 2 and neither one came with any information on using the gateway. The most important feature is the wifi feature. As a short term rental owner I need to get codes to my guests remotely over the internet. Bluetooth does not help me. Could you amend this video demonstrating everything about using the gateway. I am amazed there is nothing in the box or easy to find online. Thanks for your video.

He did. He plugged the gateway into a usb charger and clicked add device in smart life. It's easy.

Thank you for this video. Can set up two things together? for example, to unlock need finger print and normal key. Multi layer protection

The Lock Volume settings... Does this adjust ALL the prompts and sounds the makes? Specifically will this mute the keypad sounds and voice (lock/unlock) prompts? I basically want to lock and unlock in total silence.

No. Comes with keys. Why wouldn't you want to use the app? Without using the app you can't add/remove keycodes or remote lock/unlock, see history of unlocks/locks etc. If you mean adding/removing keycodes without the app - again it's vastly simpler to do with an app than some kind of manual process. Use the app and the keys.

Hola me paso a mi también tiene que cambiar los ajustes en su aplicación y cambiarlos ahí por ejemplo donde dice unlock direction ponerlo a (right) espero me allá entendido
