It is said that renting out land on square feet is more profitable in Dimapur than selling it. Accordingly, land rented out to illegal migrant workers for building "kacha" houses in a very congested manner become vulnerable to fire disasters. This is a big threat to the neighborhood as well. Therefore, it's high time for a housing policy to be framed to mitigate regular disasters.
