DMC must clearly give the reason for hiking the price of pork. And if the price is same or different for innards, hoofs, heads, if so they need to do their responsibility of checking, how the butchers of Nagaland are cheating the customer,s charging the same rate for every part of the meat, DMC were elected to address to the worst of the public, but they are worst or same as underground factions of Nagaland

It's Rs 360 per KG at Pungro Town under Kiphire District. Perhaps the farthest town in Nagaland from the commercial city of Dimapur with uncountantable taxes in between Dimapur and Pungro. With the price hike in Dimapur, the price could raise up to Rs 400/- per KG if this is not checked and regulated by the DMC as pigs are transported here from Dimapur.

I went shop to shop and questioned them and barbers gave the statement that it was the work of council who gave them this new rate. I wonder what's happening to this bagulaa council. Their duty is to check over high prices of essentia commodities/expiry date/illegal business etc.. But they are the one hiking the price over public. And even if they want to raise... just 10₹ should have been done..but why 70₹ from 50₹. This is over priced. Faltu pheeww.

Last year the wholesale rate was 255 n retail was 350. And after a few months they raised the wholesale rate to 260 and retail was 350 still. Again after a few weeks the wholesale rate was raised to 270 and retail was 350 no changes was made for retailers . No media person spoke about it and now they are popping up like a popcorn
