Great to see your review Peter, my model came last week and I have waited a long time for Hornby to produce an unrebuilt Bullied Pacific. There was no doubt for me but to have the BR express passenger blue. The colour of the model is outstanding and this is a stunning example and I am very pleased with it. I am pleased your comments reflect mine.

Excellent review of my favourite locos.BR blue livery is superb and I do agree with you that no matter what loco wears this colour they all look fantastic.I now have three of these merchant navy's the others being CLAN LINE and Holland Africa with tts sound and both are in BR green but I still prefer them in the BR Blue I have just received mine and it is superb hats off to hornby great review by the way thanks for this review

Your engine is nice, but she's not quite my cup of tea. I'm not a Southern Engine fan to be honest. I love LNER, LMS and GWR steamies a whole lot more. Add the BR Standard and Ivatt engines, except the ugly Ivatt 4 (nicknamed The Flying Pig), of course. I do wish you'd swap that stinky box on wheels for Erlestoke Manor in the SVR closing scene. Erlestoke Manor makes the most wonderful whistle and exhaust music I've ever heard.
