Hi, I am new to model railroading, I too just bought the DCC mixed freight with the B and C extension track packs, I got the track power sorted out and the loco runs on the inner and outer circles. I have watched your videos and I must say your video work and explanatory is excellent and very interesting. I hope you get the time to do more. Cheers

Lovely review. Your Duchess seems very much like my Clan MacGregor 4-6-2 which I am quite fond of. It runs like a top and can out pull my Merchant Navy Class.

The eccentric rod should rotate around, the rod on your model seems to stay in place. That rod is what opens and closes the steam cylinder, It should not be hard to move it so it looks and operates like it should. And yes, I have a pet peeve when I see drive gear on steam models not operate correctly like the prototype, lol. Beautiful model!
