That's a fancy uncoupling "shovel" you've got there John. Something soothing about the motor noises non the less😁👏👏👍👍

Hi John, really like your class 31s. I have two Triang 31s, a green & a experimental blue. I also have a Airfix one in corporate blue. Brilliant models. All the best. Carl

Love that M7, John - what a find. Your local antique shop must be full of such treasures - it's in beautiful condition !

Hi John. Lovely M7, you did well there. Don't keep the Class 31 for spares as she's now earned her place on your layout as a runner in her own right. I possess three Class 31s, an Airfix (No.D5531), a Hornby (No.D5572), and a Lima (No.D5583), all in BR green. Paul. 👍❤

Cheers Paul, you're probably right about the 31 she does run .

@@jkb1955 John. Glad to hear that. Also, I've taken the liberty of recommending your channel to Oscar Paisley as your two channels have so much in common. Having said and done that, you may already be aware of each other so apologies if I've 'jumped the gun' so to speak. Your channels bring back good memories of when I was a schoolboy with my roundy-roundy Triang layout that I constructed using chipboard (far too heavy really but nicely rigid). The locos and rolling stock were handed to me as a gift by my Grandfather and included the first BLACK BR Princess Elizabeth which, I believe, was manufactured in the late 1950s. I digress! Cheers, Paul. 👍❤️

Thanks Paul ,I was inspired by Oscar's channel to start a layout again I had alot of trains just lying about in bags ,up till I saw his channel I always did scenery on my layouts but he proved that its as much fun without!
