I seen this vlog and was like OMG!! This is the fair I grew up with! We followed them everywhere haha! My dad was a showman, used to build up and take down the machines and also operate and pushed the waltzers! Shame you didn’t get to ride them as they are definitely one of the best!! Rest of Horne’s rides are based in M&D’s for the time being. My dad still helps out now and again!! Great to see you giving them the support 😆 thanks for another fantastic vlog!

Love this video. Great selection of rides. I recently went to Bathgate for Horne's huge Funfair. 11 large rides including all of Horne's large attractions. I have met the owner of Star Fighter as well. He's very nice and he showed me the controls for the ride. It's currently my favourite ride in Scotland and I've been given some great cycles including a long fast one. Hoped you enjoyed your visit. Hopefully you'll come back soon.

What a great fun fair looks so clean and crowd levels aren’t so high there reasonable they put so much effort into this small fun fair what a great vlog and when you said your going to isle of white I was very surprised you haven’t been there for a very long time looking forward to those vlogs from there and love this vlog

Well that was a great way to finish your trip in Scotland, it really did look like a great fair. I didn’t realise you’d finished your travels as I must have missed all the updates about it and only discovered them on Instagram this afternoon. I look forward to the vlogs and all the beautiful scenery. I was so excited to hear you and Charlotte are off to the IOW. I have only just returned from there myself after the half term break. It’s such a fantastic place and I can’t wait to see where you go and what you do. The Model Village at Godshill was outstanding last week, the best I’ve seen it in 30 years!!

My local fair has recently opened. Would definitely recommend visiting. It’s Dowses FunFair Scunthorpe, Burringham Hill. They will be moving to Doncaster racecourse soon. 🙂

Wow you do get about. We have just been to Claiton on sea they have a fun fair on the pier. Looks like they have just built a new rollercoaster it wasn’t open haven’t seen it before. Just thought you should know. 😁😁😁

Star fighter is a brand new ride for Scotland making its first appearance in Inverness after being built by hand in Glasgow Scotland and extreme has had a full refurbishment it used to have the standard yellow and orange colour . Most of the rides are brand new for Scotland

It’s worth pointing out that Starfighter it’s not only the only one of its kind in Scotland but I think the only one of its kind in the whole of the UK and I don’t know of any European showman who have one🙂 And the showman who owns it built it himself in the house as he is an engineer, he didn’t put in an order to chance rides.

Been there today! Honestly so fun.. Been on the KMG by my self last time I was on a KMG was Lightwater Valley. My mates had a horrified face when they saw me on it myself. I live right next to the park just a 2 minute trek. Good video.

I hope you come to the Links Market later in the year. There's no way they'll have it until all Covid restrictions are lifted, because it usually gets around 250k visitors during the week. Its also used as a test market for new rides and games.

I was at Robinsons fair in Halifax this past weekend. It was jam packed busy but at £2.50-£3 a ride the cycles were 2 mins max on all rides. It wasnt good value at all. That twister looks great! I dont like them lap bars they dont half dig in lol

They definitely don't push anything too far. I remember when I was young there was an old twister that must have been on its last run out (I didn't realise at the time) it was absolutely flying. Nothing has come close before or after. It was only after it never reappeared the next year I worked out why it had been so good.

I’m not too sure on the restrictions for these rides, however I’d recommend contacting the fair directly to see if they can provide that information for you! Have a great time!

Just to ask will you be down at M&Ds anytime because their rock star waltzer is there where tornado used to sit and have a brand new cattapillar so a new cred for you and a lot of kids rides also if u are when will u be going would love to see u in my home park and to say hi!
