HORRA - Tera Nova - 2023 - I stall my bike, fall over and say sorry a lot

What a another fantastic day out came 7th out of 14 in class, dont know overall, took me 198:20 minutes to finish. Massive improvement over last year, as i didnt fall in a swamp.

The spot at 9:29 is where I got badly stuck and couldn't get out until a kind person helped me lift my bike back up onto the trail. I was able to get some strength back after that but I could never make up the time I lost there. I was cold, wet, and tired and it was only half way through the second of eight tests! Luckily, things improved for me a bit after that until the end of test 6.

@@woodlandwugui I kept a good pace for that section but when I got to what I thought was the end there was nothing there. No arrows, no scoring station, no signs that anything had been there. The guy behind me couldn't figure it out either. The strangest part was that there where no transit section arrows anywhere either. We decided to go south on the road and ended up at the main intersection in Lisle. There were still no arrows so I asked a local guy if he knew where the golf course was. He said he wasn't sure but he thought it was several Km south of there on a side street to the right side. I kind of guessed correctly and I and the guy following me made it back to the golf course. We didn't get scored for test 6 and missed the final two tests but I was cold and wet and over an hour past my key time so I just went back to my vehicle to change out of my gear and watch other racers arriving at the finish line right beside where I was parked.

Good job on the ride! - but the rider you are talking about at 13:30 in your video. (not the rider you are actually following there.. ) and at 20:20 is Very annoying when they dont let you pass . at 10:00 - I was like - hey, is that Lewis and Jessie down the hill there?? at 16:36 LMFAO!!! 😂 I have so been there with the back and forth passing of the same person in other events. . ha ha! I feel your pain.

im not sure, i dont think i did, my battery ran out mid way through 6, i think that was the super bumpy rough cut one?
