Horst Schumann was born on the 1 May 1906 in Halle, then part of the German Empire. When Horst was 5 years old, his parents divorced. After this divorce Horst remained with his father who was a doctor and because his father's second marriage also failed, young Horst was practically raised by his older sister. Nevertheless, Schumann followed in his father's footsteps and decided to study medicine.

As I've gotten older, I've come to believe that the most important measure of any society is not its science or technology or art, but rather how the most vulnerable are treated.

My husband’s parents were interned in Auschwitz. They survived but I believe his mother was unable to have children so they adopted my husband. His father told him: Never be without a gun - you will need it WHEN the Nazis come back. I believe that. I never shy away from these documentaries.

He represents one of the worst kind of Nazis. A doctor is sworn to look after the well being of the patient first and foremost. The doctors who took part in these "experiments" betrayed that oath.

It's weird. Leni Riefenstahl also travelled to Sudan and documented the "Nuba" people. Which she portrayed flatteringly as this masculine, powerful and natural people. And this guy made friends with africans. It's just...odd.

I don't think his soul (if he had one and I seriously doubt that) could've been salvaged even if he'd repented. He was a evil excuse for a human being who heaped unspeakable pain and suffering on innocent people. Hell has to be his final destination.

Though I will always respect others opinions, I as well will always admit that I challenge such areas of belief because we all know there's not one person of mutual being that hasn't sinned one way or the other. Oh and let alone the fact that the first wave of eugenics regarding specific hate towards Jews and those of lesser intelligence started in the US. NOT with Germany lmao 😂. Wonder why America is only good at pulling out ... Of wars . Yet only good at fighting those that aren't their own OOPS !!!😮
