Lois this is very much a children's show. Sure when I was growing up I didn't get all the song references but everyone I ever knew loved the actual content of the episodes.
@lois79564 жыл бұрын
@@tomaszlosinski875 You just have to look at the changes in humour. First series was heavy on poo jokes and farting with original songs, but after that the humour became more topical/political/ pop cultur-y with a decrease on infantile humour. Hey, as a person doing History at the time, I wasn't complaining, I was too busy thirsting over Ben and Matt :P
@tomaszlosinski8754 жыл бұрын
Lois but saying it was targeted at uni students is a stretch. Yes they made it so anyone can enjoy it but its primary purpose was to teach history in a fun way to children and I actually like that they don't insult the intelligence of children by dumbing it down to fart jokes.

but if you think about it the first season was released in 2009 and aimed at 11/12 year olds (maybe a bit younger/older). the fifth season was filmed in 2014 therefore those people who started watching it when they were 11/12 in 2009 are now 16/17 (maybe a bit younger/older) therefore the content is not aimed at them per se but are still adding things that intrigues that demographic.
