@@franc1159 'Noose' sounds like 'news'. In the UK, BBC 1 puts out several _[NUMBER] o'clock News_ programmes throughout the day, but the one at 10 o'clock is called _News At 10_ for whatever reason. So, when the executioner says "the noose at 10", you realise his monologue has been a drawn-out pun about news naming conventions.

The actors are all British so and it's pretty good to be working with the bbc so they made they're resume on bbc shows. They also do adult shows for the bbc but I'm assuming they all grew to better places in life and didn't need to stick with the dirty work that has given me plenty of laughs and lessons growing.

I'm so glad this show snuck into my childhood I don't think we had it in the US, at least not easily accessible, but we went back to the UK once or twice every year when I was a kid to visit family. I saw it on CBBC by chance one visit (The Sarah Jane Adventures made it's way to me in the same way) and then every time we visited I would find CBBC on the tv and hope Horrible Histories would be on Then when I was around 16 we visited the UK and I guess it was on UK Netflix or something bc I binged it all during that visit on some streaming service I showed it to my college housemates in 2021 too!
