Horrible Today: First explosion Yellowstone Giant Geyser threatens lives visitors in National Park

The type of event that happened at Yellowstone, DO happen quite often. Some are smaller, some are larger. Most of them are NOT detected as yellowstone doesn't have any detection system in place to catch all those events from the remote backcountry geysers. The geysers in the backcountry are accessible only by multi day backpack treks or helicopter. NO yellowstone is not going to erupt any time soon. I would begin to worry in about 100K years.
