Horrific Beauty of a Wet & Wild Crosswind Landing!

Dangerous & Illegal Crosswind? Winds 25 Gusting 40? Wet Runway? Storm Cells?
It's got the great makings of an aircrash investigation, although today, it's just the Zibo mod in xplane 12, and yours truely, coming in for Prestwick and her 9,500 Footer, in Western Scotland.

I see a lot of simmer’s do this but with all those control inputs you are sort of creating you own turbulence. Try doing it with smooth movements, I guarantee it will help you with a stable approach!

I had the turbulence, gusts and windsheer all turned up, so I really had to fight it down... see any (none airbus) cockpit footage of very gusty approaches, they fight it too!

@@InternetFlightRulesDon’t really think you get what i’m saying. There’s not really a point to “fighting an aircraft” you’re supposed to fly it, if know what I mean;) You can see on short final you bank 2 or 3 times about 10 degrees left and right with the control collum moving the same way and at the same time. You’re aim is to keep pretty much wings level even in these conditions. I’ve never flown a 737 but I am a glider instructor, so what i’m trying to bring you is valid information. Cheers!

On high speed they go silly fast, but I noticed watching back it wasn't really doing much.
