Underrated channel. The KZbin algorithm messed up and actually recommended a worthwhile video that saved me some money. Subbed.

I've Actually Said This MANY TIMES: If Someone is TRULY A Fan Of DND... Then Go Back & Rewatch 2000 Film, While IGNORING Wayans; Snails! Otherwise There Are PLENTLY Of #Fanfilms Out There... Including One Featuring Live-Action Versions Of Animated Series!

Even if you're not a D&D fan they'd be better off with those!

This feels like a 'reviewer' that had decided before stepping into the theater that it was going to crush this flick. I watched all the 'pre-view' content that predicted another woke Hollywood demasculating, woman-hear-me-roar agenda movie. Sure, we are over-tired of the whole traditional gender-role swap stuff. Occassionally though, with the right actors and the right vehicle and the right directing tone, that premise can work. That's what I got out of D&DHAT. I thought Chris Pine was the perfect kind of charming to pull this off. Michelle Rodriguez was a cool bruiser but not particularly overbearing to the men. Hugh Grant was his usual smarmy british character that he does so well. I thoroughly enjoyed myself when I fully expected to dislike this movie. So, sorry Nova Corps. I probably wont be tuning into your channel again (first timer). Not because our opinions differ but because the content of this review seemed less like an honest take and more like a guy with an agenda that was determined to shoehorn into a review. Just my suspicionm fwiw.

I appreciate you giving it a chance. Just to be clear though, I go into every movie wanting to like it. Its my money I'm spending to do so. And I didnt have a problem with things like Michelle Rodriguez having the roll she did(she was decent). I didn't like how Chris Pines character was treated by the writers, mainly through dialogue which I reference. A lot of my problems stemmed from that. Pair that with my rather harsh sense of humor...But again, thanks for the shot.
