The Autopsy is a great story and they did a pretty good job with it on that show. Those old World’s Best anthologies are awesome.

Once my challenge is over I'm going to get the rest of the set. I cleaned out my used bookstore's collection.

Great video. Some really interesting books there and I absolutely love your neat and orderly bookshelves 😊

Thanks. The shelves are deceptively neat, but are due for some reorganization.

That first story in the Joe Hill book scared the crap out of me! It was the first thing I'd ever read by him, except maybe, was he the guy that did _Locke & Key_? Guess so. Anyway, your video cracked me up. Thanks! Happy March!

My friend Casey Becker from high school was always reading and watching horror movies. Sometimes, while she would make Jiffy Pop on the stove, I would call her from my cellular phone and quiz her on horror movies. "Who was the killer in Friday the 13?". Basic stuff like that. Then we would play tag in the house and yard. She was pretty fast. Hard to catch.

I was gutted to hear what happened to her.

Wow, that's amazing hearing you say that Catch 22 was a quick read. I've had it for ages and it's become a bit of a white whale for me....I need to get stuck in! - really interesting set of books for March mate. Great video. Love the editing at the end.

To be fair I haven't finished it yet but so far it is going down easy.

My husband really loves Catch-22 but he said it’s quite odd! I need to balance the hefty books with short reads, or I’d get stuck. I love Brave New World - it’s my favorite dystopian classic for sure. WTF on the Dean Koontz 😂 (I like old Koontz) House of Leaves is so so so so good. It took me a few times to get going; it’s an experience for sure. I think it sticks to you in ways that are odd. (I liked Skinamarink but yeah, it was odd as well. It did what it set out to do, I think, as I was affected by it even if I wasn’t sure what was happening.)

I think the movie would have worked if they shaved off 45 min to an hour.

Your editing is so good 😂. I’m kind of intrigued by Amber after hearing you talk about it lately and I love that 1972 SF cover. Terror in the Mind also sounds really interesting. Hope you enjoy everything! ☎️ 🔪

Thanks! The covers of those volumes were definitely a draw. I despise most modern book covers.

Great tbr! Good to see you read some horror fiction. Old Koontz is far superior to modern Koontz, or that is my feeling anyway. I need to read more Joe Hill, who has definitely followed in his daddy's footsteps. I DNFd The House Of Leaves when I was a teen, maybe i might pick it up again one day! Great video!

Thank you. I'll let you know if I think it's worth trying again.

How is it March, indeed! 👏🏻👏🏻 You scared me with the Koontz! 😂😂. Looks like a great reading month to me - well except for House of Leaves. 🫠 And you scared me at the end of your video. 😱

In the end I toned it down a little because people aren't necessarily coming here for anything more frightening than my mug.
