For the paw placement/body swap ones I originally thought it was weird to keep the faces roughly the same, but then I realized it’s actually scarier to have it that way. I can imagine they lure in their prey with their cute faces and then when the person realizes the truth it’s already too late.

Maybe its because I have zero artistic talent, but I am floored by just how lifelike all these become when you finish. The close up views, the shine on the blood splatters, makes it feel like they're popping off of not only the page, but out of my screen. Bravo.
