Just got the call, snow is too thick for work. HB audio drop, half round of cheese, 2 bottles of decent whiskey, ounce of pipesmoke, 14 logs for the hearth, one prime rib for the flame. Well, I guess my night has aligned itself.

Cold in Houston Texas. I can't imagine the strength it must take to survive. We're only dealing with -30 windchill in MN 😂 just breaking your balls a bit. These stories are great in every cold. Take care

@@dannyb2783 No i get it. Lol. The thing is, it is usually 100 so when it gets down to 27 with the wind and rain, my body doesn't know what to do. Imagine taking a camel to Antarctica. That's the kind of shock I'm experiencing. Hahahahaha

It's definitely weirdly relative to what you're used to; when winter first comes around (I live in PA), a 30 degree day feels nightmarish. After about a month of getting used to the cold again, it becomes barely noticable and even 20 something degrees feels bearable.

When "Prunes" was uploaded as a separate tale, I ignored it purely because of it's title. How could there be anything good about prunes? Now, after two listens, I reckon it is one of the best-told stories I have heard in a long time. Any more from this author??

There are a couple more stories I believe -- one of them being a follow-up of sorts to this.

I'm not sure I fully understand what happened at the end of ghosts. So Fjord cracked after fixing the problem because the mounting stress had effectively worn down his sanity causing a delayed homicidal outburst?
@gozinta8210 ай бұрын
Near the beginning, it was said that psychopaths couldn't be cured. He didn't realize that ford was psychopathic(if that's the word he was using). So he wasn't fully cured, it just went dormant.
@macummings781810 ай бұрын
@ixisnyx6860 That sounds like a pretty succinct summary of what happened! As the other commenter mentions, Fjord identified his psychological profile as the "schizoid" type, leaving us to realize the deeper horror in store when the Integrators incorporate the effects of what has happened! 😬🫣😶🌫️
