With the birth rate exceeding the people's ability to provide for these children, high infant mortality, women seen as beasts of burden and drudges, and education questionable in the best of times, Afghanistan will never dig itself out of the hole it's made for itself. But think about the money to be gain in Qatar; new cars, cleaning up crews, building materials for repairs, furniture, etc. In poor regions, the people now are building their houses in the wrong places, and suffer for it. The planet is perfect, even replenish a very ancient river in South Arabia, that can be seen from space, bringing the rain of a very long cycle to the region. No rain should ever be seen as a disaster, because rain is water that brings life. No water, no life.
