This sorta reminds me of a "The great dust bowl" meets "a plague".... The acting was fantastic 👌 very interesting short!

Beautiful use of black and white! There's nothing more dramatic and intense than well-done black and white film. Very well done and compelling story. Thank you for the gift of your art.

The black and white atmosphere and its 4:3 square aspect ratio reminds me so much of Robert Egger's movie The Lighthouse with Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe.

Funny how all that plagued force majeure and violence from outside also existed inside. There's no shelter for us Humans. Constant Anxiety is part of the Human Condition. Accept it and surrender. We have to live with it and that's proof of a imperfect dangerous Universe, clearly not designed perfect by gods. We are born defeated but we can be as strong as we want and keep fighting.

Please Please tell me this will be made into a feature length film. One of the best shorts I've seen in a long time. Very good, pacing, plot, characters, all well done in such a short time. The style in which it was filmed also suited the plot. Well done! 🫶💟💞

What was so funny in the end? Why were they laughing?
@blackavar572310 ай бұрын
I think that it was the irony that they'd both fatally shot each other right before the wind came for them anyway. Coupled with the fact that they were both drunk on hard liquor, it must've seemed funny to them
@rivciks504510 ай бұрын
@@blackavar5723 I don’t think it was a normal human reaction. The urge to laugh would have been the last thing I would have felt. Most likely in that situation I would have been thinking my life over or praying
@blackavar572310 ай бұрын
@@rivciks5045 Yeah, it definitely wasn't a normal response - I truly think it was in large part due to drunkeness and blood loss, combined. I have unfortunately been drunk and losing blood at the same time before, and your thoughts just don't connect or make sense in that state. So while I can see why they might react that way in their physical state, I completely agree with you - I, too, would be praying for my life, (and probably trying to drag myself to some sort of hiding place in my last moments of consciousness!)
