I think you have to be a dedicated Saw fan to really understand why Saw 6 is one of the best in the series. I would've rated it Bloody Good Time, but I'm admittedly a huge fan and can respect it being in Kills Two Hours if you're not a super fan. I think it was the fact that the people in the traps were somewhat (there are exceptions) justified in being there and the story felt like it was actually fully thought out from beginning to end. By comparison, in Saw 5, you could have cut the traps out entirely and it wouldn't have affected the plot, it just wouldn't have been a Saw flick. The traps are also phenomenal, particularly The Carousel. Loving these tier lists, looking forward to the next one!

Yeah the tierlist is back! As a finale to this series, are you considering a ranking of the instalments overall? So basically ranking the overall tierlist against each other. To be perfectly honest, I don't know if that would work as an interesting video, but I personally would definitely like to watch it. I was talking about a number of collections of movies all ranked against each other. Those collections would not be franchises, because this is a franchise: {child's play, child's play 2, child's play 3, etc} What I mean as a collection is: {child's play 2, wrong turn 2, paranormal activity 2, etc}. That's why I kept mentioning installments. It is a collection of the third installments inside of all franchises, ranked against the first, second, fourth, etc installments in those franchises. The more I think about it, it is not a good idea for a video, I just personally would like to know Cody's thoughts. Hopefully it is clear now, because I honestly would not know how to explain it otherwise, you kinda lost track I think

Hey Cody! Love the channel, subscribed since about six months ago. Anyways, I know you already have a ton of suggestions for ranking lists on here but here’s one you may not have had yet: A top 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling brave) movies with a sense of location/place. What I mean by that is movies where the setting feels like real/belivable locations that you could actually visit and feel like a character of their own. Although not a movie (per se), my personal top pick would be season 1 of the TV-series (not the movie) Fargo. Either way, keep up the good work!

Ngl really do like the curse of Michael Myers, it’s Michael most brutal moments, Paul Rudd is just awesome as well as Loomis, Cara is underrated I believe as a main girl, and yeah despite its story problems I think the theatrical cut is the better version, and shows the hospital Massacre showing he can’t be controlled and is just an evil walking on two legs

Friday the 13th part 6 is the best out of the sixquels. It brought back an even more badass Jason, it has the best protagonist rivaling with part 4 Tommy, it takes you back at camp with actual children in it, a lot of good kills and I liked the sherrif character

When horror franchises get to part 4, 5, 6, etc, they tend to go WAAAAAY down in quality. Usually by that point, it's just a cash grab and nothing else. Occasionally, we get a nice, pleasant surprise here and there, but very seldom. Love your videos! Always happy to view them. 👍

Nightmare on Elm Street is my favorite franchise. I wouldn’t say Freddie’s Dead is a classic but I find all of the movies enjoyable except the remake. The jokiness was a poor direction for the movie but the whole dysfunctional take on Springwood was pretty fun, and I like the opening scenes.

I honestly really don't like TCM The Beginning. It felt like the remake just... with a slightly different plot and characters. It doesn't really feel much like a prequel either, it's not like they properly explain why they started eating people or something like that. I mean, they do give us an explanation as to why the Sheriff is missing his teeth and the other guy his legs... that's nice I guess?

Jason Lives is my prime one here, but I'm sure there's others. Survival of the Dead, 6th in the Romero Dead series (albeit more of a reboot), I didn't mind too much. Halloween 6 and Freddy's Dead, messy for sure, but I enjoy them enough. For Hammer horror, there's Horror of Frankenstein (which is more of a reboot), which wasn't bad, just not a memorable. And then there's Scars of Dracula, which I like highly in spite of it being a little schlocky in places.

I will ALWAYS appreciate the short bit in Freddy's Dead that shows Englund before the transformation. It had an ounce of potential. Him letting go of the lifeless body of his wife, his creepy basement ... worth a look. On the other hand... for every Alice Cooper you get a Rosanne. Ugh.
