Very new to fishing i came across a monster striped bass soon as my buddy left and i was alone. Friends still dont believe me. Im a big guy and the fish was pulling me in the water. Having no experience i didnt know how to set my drag. I seen its huge eyes and very fine stripes. The line snapped. Ill never forget that monster

The stingray bit is hilarious, "The venom of this creature has no known antidote." also "This was something that wasn't going to go away on its own, it did need urgent medical treatment." "The wound is no more than a glancing blow." So the injury wasn't crazy severe, but he did bleed a lot so sure that needed patching. Still sounds like after those 4 weeks he couldn't work, it did go away on its own. Did it hit an artery in his leg? Lack of clean water to clean the wound and prevent infection? Sounds like if you clean and dress the wound it would have gone away over time. Other than Steve Irwin (which was a pretty freak accident) death by stingray is almost unheard of.

I don't want you running around doing the things you do think you're not appreciated for what you do I'm sure others share my feelings we just want you to know that we appreciate what you do. The only thing you need to do next, is to accept the LORD JESUS CHRIST as your savior. John 3:16 Context 13And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
