About The Talk:
In this talk Dr T.H.Chowdary talks about the inglorious period in Indian history in which unimaginable atrocities were perpetrated on the populace of erstwhile Hyderabad State under the Nizam rule by the Razakars.
Razakars were a private army of ( fanaticized) Muslims raised by one Kasim Razvi, a small time lawyer from Latur, who has taken over the Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen which was founded and sworn to keep the Nizam's dominions as an independent, sovereign Islamic kingdom after the lapse of Britain’s paramountcy on 15 Aug 1947.The Razakars, with support from Nizam’s Police, committed atrocities on Hindu subjects struggling for freedom from Nizam’s oppressive, exploitative rule and for accession of the state to the Indian Union. The Razakars terrorized Hindus by loot, rape, burning and butchery.
About The Speaker:
Dr T.H.Chowdary graduated in Telecom Engineering ; held senior positions like General Manger in several states and Dy Director General in the Department of Telecoms; was the founding Chairman & Managing Director of the PSU, Videsh Sanchar Nigam; Governor of INTELSAT in Washington, Executive Councilor of INMARSAT, London and Chief Technical Officer of International Telecoms Union (Geneva), in Guyana and Yemen, he was engaged by Canada’s International Development Agency to advise on restructuring of South Africa’s telecoms and write an IT Policy for Nepal.
He was IT Advisor Government of AP (1997-‘04) and a Member of Prime Minister’s National Task Force for IT & Software (1998-’99) . He was Chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Hyderabad.
He is the founding and continuing Chairman of Pragna Bharati, a nationalist think tank (in the two Telugu States) since 1992.
He authored 25 books so far on Telecoms, I.T, India’s History, culture and national and international politics. He edits and contributes to a number of journals regularly.
He was awarded Padma Sri in 2017.

We have our own problem in Andhra but we don't hate Telugus based on their region or slang. We always believed in Telugu unity but you divided Telugus because you wanted all the Hyderabad money for yourself. We did a big mistake by trusting Telangana people and keeping capital in Hyderabad, instead of our Kurnool or Vijayawada. After developing Hyderabad you kicked us out. now you want to talk about Andhra people not helping you. Telangana is developed because of Andhra people who migrated there for the past 1000 years. Read about reforms of Rani Rudrammma devi, who encouraged farmers from Andhra to shift to Telangana for developing your region.

Our Indian Army by war captured Hyderabad, however, Pt. Nehru gave Nizam Raj Pramukh post and allowed him all his properties and bought Hyderabad House in Delhi and on top of it gave him Rs 50 lakhs per year Privy Purse. What can be said of Nehru ?😢😢

Right now, I am living in Hyderabad as a north indian. Most of the village people around the hyderabad are very less aware about the history plus they also say that "Sardar Vallabhai Patel" decision was incorrect. Also, true politician like "Raja Singh Thakur" , has already posted about the mindset of typical telugu speaking people.

It was the congress and the communists who ruled this state for all these years since independence. They deliberately tried to keep the people here unaware of all these incidents. However some people like me know what happened to our ancestors during Razakar period in Telangana. My grandfather used to recall about Razakars' terror back then when he was a child.

What does this Andhra guy know any thing about Telangana struggle, these Andhra crooks hated us when Telangana fighters went to Andhra to hide, We found great help in Maharashtra Nagpur & Karnataka. If you want to know about Telangana struggle against Nizam's Razakar army, then talk to the right person NOT him. Nizam's ministry is full of N.Indian Hindu & Brahmins, some of the temples Nizam constructed are now occupied and totally neglected now. Razakars is an end game, Nizam was forced either uprising or give control to them to fight. How can Telangana people forget, Nizam was main contributor to BHU Varanasi ? How many Telangana students get reservation for our hard earned money is given to BHU? During Razakar attacks and Telangana fight back, home minister was Sardar Vallabhai Patel, he watched 13 months as in no decade of Hyderabad country (Yes) country history that many deaths happened in any decade. Question is what happened after that, Police Action was done the Police were mostly Andhra and they were most rude to us and when we joined Indian Union, we had surplus budget Most paid employees in the state, richest state in the country. In that 3 years Andhra with Kurnool as Capital was bankrupt, So why would India forcibly against people's wishes force their legislators to vote for merger (against SRC recommendation) and exodus of Andhra to Telangana ? Telangana banned, our culture upheld and respected by even Nizam was banned by those Andhra crooks ? why would they leave their own capital ? Why did Govt of India did worse than Tinanamen square killing 365 Telanagna people in Hyderabad by Andhra CM with Central govt ? the bullet marks still visible? I really like your channel but why rub salt on our wounds by talking about our history with an outsider who is one of our exploiter?
