Horse boarding the Outer Hebrides

Here is my latest film from our adventure Horseboarding nearly 200 miles through the Outer Hebrides. I make this journey with my two Eriskay ponies Noah and Storm and my little dog Inca. Eriskay ponies are one of the rarest breeds in the world. During our trip we stop off at their ancestral home...The Isle of Eriskay to learn more about them. Thanks for watching!

Is interesting how you've rigged that, with one pony actually doing the pulling, holding the traces for that pony in your left hand and the extra pony is along to alternate, but driving them as a pair. It looks like great fun and may you have many more exploring adventures in this way. That's very fine scenery.

Amazing and so beautiful to see the ponies in the wild. I would just like to say that you could easily ride your ponies as they're extremely strong and you're tiny :D I have two Eriskays the same size as yours (father and son) and if my back wasn't damaged, I would ride them both. I might give this a go though ;)

Emma, I have a rescue dog, she is 2 years old collie\ heinz 57 which actually makes her completely unique and individual!!. Unfortunately from her previous life she has terrible abuse and socialisation problems. But she is a lovely dog and deserves a chance. She is really making an effort and you can see she wants to do her best. But my patience and tolerance with her was being tested. I have been watching many of your films on how you treat your clan and your training methods with them, and how devoted they are to you. So I have tried some of these with Ali and I am please to say we are really getting on much better. It helps when I realise that I have as much learning to do as she does!! Good luck with every thing and thanks for your programs!!

This is so cool! With the dog in the backpack😂 This is totally something i would try myself😍 I don’t have horses anymore but i skate with my 5 year old Staffordshire Bullterrier, he loves it and it is a good way to drain his energy😄 He loves to pull when i tell him to pull, knows left and right, easy, faster and stop. It is not the safest thing to do when he sees a cat or other animal flying by😅Since i’m not a fysical strong person with my 53kg and a lot of health issues but at those moments i forget my troubles. Training and working with animals is the nicest thing and it makes the bond so much better and stronger☺️

Way to go! Great way to travel, very earthy. But I don't quite get that you think your ponies are too little to ride. I see the board can carry your gear and you, travel fairly quickly, but they are a lot bigger than a shetland, and very strong looking. Beautiful trip, thank you.
