As a State Senator in Ohio, and as a horse owner, I have constituents contacting me about this video and what it means for 4H Horse Shows. Especially the non-speed events of students showing English, Western Pleasure, Hunter and Dressage. How does these rule changes effect this horse shows?

Sounds like you should have an inspector or else you can opt out and potentially be held liable if a horse is later found to be in violation and was not disqualified from your show. I know I had my horses inspected before my 4H shows when I was a kid but now the inspectors are specifically trained as “HPI” with new training.

@@zachnelson7221just like Prop 12 in CA...it did nothing for Sow welfare, with a record book hog producers can still use farrowing crates 28 days.
