The reaction to raising your hands or sudden movement was probably a quirk from an abusive past, being scared of sudden movements of kicking or whipping, and raising your hands to hit the poor boy.

As a teenager I had a 17 hand American paint she was smart an gentle.loved her to death.. when our horses got old we retired them to beautiful pasture with treats now an then an grooming.i feel for those who don't get that life an a yearly vet checkup an a vet when needed..sad what alot of them go through.

Thank you! right now we are just having fun as he is 2.5 years old. One day hopefully he will be a hunter/ jumper. Mostly he will just be a pleasure horse. I got him with the intent to sell him, however, I do not see that happening! so I'm in no rush to start him.

I just love watching what you’ve done with Buddy. I’m so sorry about your house fire and all that the horses went thur Bc of it, esp Buddy.
