Umar bhai,sharing my experience the rule of pony walas are simple you have to either trek with them or leave them on their own,they wont wait for u so better not to keep costly items with them like laptops or other gadgets they will leave your stuff to the campsite n return.they only make sure that ur stuff is ok.

I think you should let that boy reach to the designated destination as per his speed with your stuffs, so he can return back his other destination. He will not stay with you whole day n waited for you just for 1000rs n you r vlogging as well. For that you should carry your own luggage n trek slowly as your pace or u can hire him for few days and accordingly pay him.

Its very similar on both side of Kashmir. Often have these porters and guide who would be the nicest people to start and suddenly they would change their colours when you are on a complex situation.

Experienced the same stuff exactly on the trek up to Thajwas glacier from Sonmarg. The guy was very nice when it was all about being paid, but then he changed his mind after a couple hours, and insisted we camp there (instead of further up wher we should have). So I have decided from then on that my next trek in India will be totally independant, without relying on anybody. When you have to carry your stuff on your own back, you learn to keep it to basics.

I have been there on that tarsar marsar trek this year with my frends we were a group of 4 nd only 3 of us went to tarsar nd marsar as the other one preferred to stay at lidder wathh ,it was really worth of visit nd i will nvr forget those goosebumps which i can still feel when ever i recall the beauti of those 2 lakes ❤ nd i would like to add here the same kind of thing happened with us like u got some trouble with the horse man .ours horse man took an hour's of argument over being late he just threwed our stuff over there and started arguing nd was olso asking for more money nd as we refused he delebrately throw out stuff so hard on the ground ,thanks to almighty everything was okay nd nothing was broken but if it were we could have been in a mess Conclusion:if anyone is treaking ovee there stay safe from thes horse man ❤

After watching the full edited video, I have to say you were at fault! You kept stopping to shooting the video from all angels, stopping to get the best shot, and stopping the horse too, over and over again! And on top of that, your friend is out of shape and cant keep up! How is that the Horse owner's problem? His responsibility was only to get the luggage to the agreed place, nothing else! And then after he got you to where you needed to get to, you still didn't pay him! He had to then go and find your friend and have faith that he would get paid or not! I think you need to humble yourself and also think of it from his point of view! AND ALSO YOUR AND YOUR FRIENDS SAFETY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, NOT THE HORSE OWNERS!
