The entire crew/group/family at Horse Plus is blessed with the love of all creatures, caring for each other, doing whatever’s with a positive attitude, finding the joy wherever it pops up. Take care of each other - compassion fatigue is so real and “hangry” - I feel like you know how to be there for each other. I loved the water tank party - perfect chillin’ out. Kudos to all of you

So happy for all the adoptions! Especially Blessings. She is in the best of hands. I appreciate you sharing the sad struggles too. The poor confusion and fear in her eyes not understanding why she can't stay up. Those are the ones I believe we all wish arrived in your care sooner. If people can't manage, no matter what the circumstances, they need to consider reaching out to a center like yours to give the horses a chance. I often think they either don't want to admit they need help, just don't care, or let it go so far, they think they will get into trouble. The lives suffer unnecessarily because of it.

I am so happy that BLESSING found a new home with Sarah (I believe) . It latterly brought tears to my eyes when I seen how she was following her and how good she was for Sarah . Just love it when someone from Horse Plus adopts from there . I am still waiting on my answer if I can get a horse from there . Wish me luck you guys !

I am so glad you are there saving so many animals. Your staff is amazing, knowledgable and caring. I also appreciate your work trying to stop 'big lick'. I didn't know about it until a few years ago and I still can't believe that it is legal and that those who participate do so with the knowledge they are abusing the horses. I would have never thought something like this would be lawful makes me ill! I did boxer dog rescue for over 25 years and I thought I had see a lot of horrific things but the way some of these horses look is atrocious and unbelievable, I don't think I could do it, THANKS TO ALL OF. YOU FOR YOUR COMPASSION AND DEVOTION!!

Did anyone notice whilst Garrick was trimming that beautiful mare's hooves in the barn he's keeping an eye on the dogs and cats wandering around, and he paused to let the ginger kitten walk past before lifting one of the horse's back legs. He's very patient and kind with the horses, and he was sweet and considerate towards the smaller animals too.

So glad to see Jess adopted Blessing. I groom donkeys at an adventure park on my time off from my real job. I don't get paid in money, but time spent with these beautiful Jenny's feeds my soul. We have a 2 1/2 month old little Jack named Thunder who is just adorable out of my favorite jenny Beauty. I get to work with them to help gentle them so they will go up to the guests and be petted. I just love them.

If you are having trouble getting cat adoptions, perhaps a transport rescue to a shelter that needs cats is possible. Kindred Hearts, Wings of Love for example.

Yes! PLEASE check out this avenue! I know they (shelters up North-I live in NH) are ALWAYS transporting cats/kittens to up to the Northeast USA for adoption. 3 of my 4 cats (adopted as adults) came from down South (KY & NC). My old pitty also came from KY as did our dear departed boxer Autumn. 🌈 Good luck!🍀 💖 🤘

What kind of person puts a mama cat and 7 babies in an enclosed black tub with NO AIR HOLES and drops them off somewhere?! It's almost as bad as putting them in a bag and throwing them in a river (what bad folk did in the "old days"). Thank goodness those people brought them to Horse Plus!
