This is the internal power Qi exercise in the Eight Extremities Fist(Baji chuan), focusing on the horse stance. It used to be a daily routine, starting with leg strength training, linking the body's power through the horse stance posture, and combining it with the breath to catalyze the power of the horse stance. Thus, it trains both the physical and internal power, making the horse stance a crucial standing posture in external martial arts. The horse stance internal power breathing also simultaneously enhances endurance and cardiovascular function, allowing for the release of internal power in every movement of the Eight Extremities Fist. Therefore, it serves to train endurance, breath control, and physical strength while practicing martial arts. Compared to running, horse stance internal power Qi provides a more effective and intense workout for cardiovascular health.
