I'm not sure if you do any rigorous offroading in this truck, but I'd think you'd want to have something a little more secure. I also get that some people may not want to drill into the dash. I'm curious if you've ever tried 67 Designs Ram truck bases/packs.

BIG thumbs up for Course mounts. installed the Magsafe charger dash mount on my '21 TRX. fished a flat/ultra-slim USB-C cable (with angled connectors) behind the center dash and connected to USB ports below screen. very clean setup, no visible cable. love it

What's the pro clip look like when the phone is turned landscape mode? I'm trying to find a spot where my screen isn't obstructed at all (steering wheel blocks the view), but I'm ok with it obstructing the ac vent since the air will still come through regardless

For my C7 I have both the pro clip and the Course Motorsports mounts. The CourseMotorsports one seems to wiggle a little during driving so I got the pro clip. However, the pro clip makes it harder to use my HPO mug. So, I am still undecided. Luckily, as you said, they are both easy to install and Uninstall. Eventually, I will pick one.

I love the HPO mug part of this comment but my findings were the same. I ended up going with the ProClip on my C7 though because I didn't care for the Course Motorsports one on the C7 but I may be the opposite here. I think both are good options depending on the vehicle you may go one way or another. Take the C8 for example, the proclip is a much better option in my opinion!

For the Course Motorsports mount and puck charger. Do you think you could run a wire behind the display unit and plug into the USB or USBC to hide the wire? The wireless charger in my 23 TRX is terrible and I'm looking for an alternative.

The wireless charger in every single car I’ve ever tested is terrible. This one is no different it seems. You could hide the wire pretty well if you really wanted to.
