Glad I came across this video! I’ve been searching for a bed cover that will work with the ram bar. Question: there are 2 variations of part #80243. “New Body (W/ 6-Lug Wheels), W/O Ram Box, W/O Multifunction Tailgate” and “New Body (W/ 6-Lug Wheels), W/O Ram Box” Which version did you go with? I’d like the install to be as simple as you made it look! Also, the other thing giving me pause is that the website says “Will NOT Work w/ Ram TRX Bed Bar” & “Installation Requires the Removal of the Ram TRX Bed Bar (if equipped)”. Most likely covering their butts but before I send it I’d really appreciate your input. Thanks!

Is there a locking mechanism on the passenger side? I have a Retrax cover on my 21 TRX which only locks on the driver side, causing a large 3/4” gap on the passenger side between the cover and the tailgate. There is a large white pin on the rail of the passenger side which I assume is for locking purposes, but there is no other hardware nor is there a rod running over to the driver side lock. Either my model cover came without it or I am missing some parts. The previous owner put the cover on, so I’m not even sure what model it is. Driving me nuts!

The lock itself is on the driver side but there is a rod that goes over to the passenger side to lock both sides equally. I don't think you can remove it so it might not be the same model you have.

5'7 bed, without rambox and without multifunction tail gate to get the same one I have here. I do believe it will clear the tire carrier without a wheel in it.

I just checked and got a live chat. They do have one for my '08/ They're in Stockholm, NJ which is very close to me, but they're just a middleman and don't have a showroom where I can stop in and see the product for myself. Since my truck is a Gen 1, I'm sure they don't have one just sitting on the shelf somewhere and it could take months to get one. Thanks again Justin. I'm not closing the door on getting one though. I'll just have to mull it around a bit. As always, you always come through for me as I'm sure you do for all your subscribers. Stay the course. Yes, but the tailgate isn’t. You need to add some weatherstripping to the tailgate to prevent water 100%

I had them tinted at Blackout Tinting in PA. Your detail shop should be able to do it for you.
