Oh dangnabbit! Too bad I didn’t see this video yesterday before I harvested my abundant horseradish plants today and discarded the leaves in a pile… Well, they were probably too long in the tooth anyway. Next year I will harvest some and try this for sure. Apparently there is a tip for making a stainless steel pan non-stick by cooking green onions in it. I saw a video on Christine Cushing’s KZbin channel. I’ll also gently remind you to keep your thumbs curled in when you chop your onions dear one. I always thought I had good non-pro knife skills but got careless one day making soup and off came part of my poor thumb! Not fun. Luckily I gauged the wound as something I could fix on my own and not have to go to the hospital. Still had weird nerve damage on the tip for years. Never again!
