👍🎼💥❣🙋‍♀️ Vladimir Vysotsky - actor, poet, singer, composer. Prophet man. He died early, but left behind a lot. This song is about himself. Sleigh is life, Naughty horses are destiny. And no matter what a person does, fate carries a person to death. The poet asks the horses not to rush, he wants to have time to do everything. About this he asks horses, fate. There are many who sang this song, but Vysotsky is practically inaccessible. Diana was able, according to many fans of Vysotsky, to sing this difficult parable song with dignity.

Vladimir Vysotsky (January 25, 1938 - July 25, 1980) - Soviet poet, theater and film actor, songwriter. You correctly noticed that the song "Fussy Horses" has a very deep meaning. "Fussy Horses" - a song by Vladimir Vysotsky, written in early 1972. The hero of the song drives horses along the cliff over the abyss through the wind and fog. He feels that the end is near, but this causes him "deadly delight." The hero calls on the horses not to obey the whip and lash and to gallop “a little slower” - he did not have time to live and will not even have time to sing. He dreams of stopping on the edge for another moment to water the horses and sing the verse. In Russia, they are very careful about the songs of Vladimir Vysotsky, so not every singer will dare to perform any of his songs. Vladimir Vysotsky performed his songs very emotionally and had his own special style of performance. Diana, as always, performed this song just amazing!!! Thank you very much for your reaction to Diana Ankudinova!!! Like!!! Russia!!!👍👍👍👍👍

Vladimir Vysotsky is a cult phenomenon for Russian culture. A poet, singer, theater and film actor - it's like Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Jim Morrison for American culture, all of them combined and even more. In order to try to perform Vysotsky's song, you need to have desperate courage. How Diana succeeded, I don’t understand.

Those of us who have listened to Vysotsky and watched his roles in cinema have made him a part of our lives. He remained with us through words and suggestion. He lived at a very fast pace at a time when alcohol and drugs were being sought. A unique bard, with very heavy and wise lyrics, and we worked hard to understand him. The older generation believes that Vysotsky is incomprehensible to today's young people. Diana refuted this claim by performing in an incomparable way one of his most impressive songs. She managed to make iron men cry with tears. This girl is a special soul and Vysotsky, where he is now, must be proud of her performance!

Hello from France This is, for me, the most moving of Diana's interpretations. As you have noticed, she lives the song as if she was herself the author, and she was only 17! Vladimir Vyssotsky is for me the greatest Soviet poet, nothing less than a genius. He wrote parabolic texts to get around censorship. In this one, he talks about himself (he burnt his life, he was an alcoholic and then a drug addict), he feels carried away to death and asks for a little more time. The horses are a metaphor for his life, which has become uncontrollable... His funeral in Moscow was attended by over a million people and remains the largest unofficial event of the Soviet era The Ornery Horses ♫ On a cliff over a chasm, in my sled and nearly slipping, I am lashing at my horses. I am rushing, I am whipping. Drinking fog and gulping gale... Am I running out of air? It’s the end! I see it clear with a jubilant despair. Slow down for me, horses! Slow down for me! Don’t you let my whip drive you on! But I wound up with these horses so ornery... Didn’t finish my life, will not finish my song. I’ll let my horses drink. One more verse I will sing. Just a little bit longer I’ll cling to the brink. I will perish like a feather blown away by the tornado, And the sled across the snow will drag me, leaving deep striations... Bring it down to a walk, my horses! - We can make it there later! - Won’t you stave off my arrival at the final destination! Slow down for me, horses! Slow down for me! Ease your gallop and just trot along! But I wound up with these horses so ornery... Didn’t finish my life, cannot finish my song. I’ll let my horses drink. One more verse I will sing. For a split second longer I’ll cling to the brink. We have made it. Can’t be late, when you’re invited to God’s table. But why do I hear angels chanting, and their voices sound so evil? Or is that a crazy sleigh bell crying, choking in its rattle, As I’m yelling at my horses to slow down just a little? Slow down for me, horses! Please, slow down for me! I am begging you: hold back your run! But I wound up with these horses so ornery... Didn’t finish my life, let me finish my song! I’ll let my horses drink. One last verse I will sing. For a split second longer I’ll cling to the brink. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Vysotsky wysotsky.com/ (hundreds of his poems translated in 237 languages.)

This is... Diana (16 years old)! This is Vladimir Vysotsky! The song is not about "an invitation to a table to which you cannot be late", but about an invitation to God, to which "there are no delays ...", about life (how you live it), about how you go to God. (The teacher's doubts about "that she will not cope and had not yet grown up to this song" did not refer to her vocal habilitates, but to her emotional understanding of the topic covered in the song, given her so young age. Diana coped with everything perfectly and became, perhaps, the best performer of this song after the author and performer of this emotionally complex song)

Vladimir Vysotskiy (died in 1980) is a great Soviet poet, singer and actor. He is very popular and loved in modern Russia. True, that Diana picked one of his difficult songs to sing. However, she performed it very well keeping the Vysotskiy's emotional style of performance of this song. And yes, the lyrics are very deep. I think the translation about the God's table is a bit wrong. I would translate it as: We came in time, one can't be late to visit God (as a guest). Thank you for the reaction.

This song is so hard to sing, so many emotions... Diana manages it brilliantly despite her youth. Her empathy is incredible. This song is a tragic-philosophical song, one of Vysotsky's most intimate songs. : Horses are a symbol of the capers and the speed of life. The hero of the song drives horses along a cliff over an abyss through wind and fog. He feels that the end is near and asks the horses not to obey the whip and to gallop 'a little slower'. He dreams of standing on the sidelines for a moment to water the horses. He hasn't had time to live and can't even finish his song. * Who was the songwriter? Vladimir Semjonovich Vysotsky (1938-1980) was a Russian poet, actor and singer, inconvenient for the state but the people loved him. In his songs he sang about topics that officially did not exist in the Soviet Union: prostitution, crime, anti-Semitism. He is still known and popular today in Russia, where he is considered the greatest songwriter of the 20th century. He always played his songs on a 7-string guitar. Vysotsky died in 1980. His funeral took place during the Moscow Olympics. The Soviet media did not mention his death. But the news spread like wildfire, and the funeral turned into the largest non-state demonstration Moscow had ever seen. In a 2018 survey of the most important personalities in Russia of the 20th century, Vysotsky came in second behind Yuri Gagarin. The asteroid of the outer main belt (2374, Vladvysotskij) was named after him. (google helped) Listen to him: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHKTkop4fNaHiJY

The song "Picky Horses" was written by the famous Soviet bard Vladimir Vysotsky, a cult singer, actor and composer. Vladimir Vysotsky (25 January 1938 - 25 July 1980), was a Soviet singer-songwriter, poet, and actor, had an immense and enduring effect on Soviet culture. He became widely known for his unique singing style and for his lyrics, which featured social and political commentary in often humorous street-jargon. He was also a prominent stage- and screen-actor. Though the official Soviet cultural establishment largely ignored his work, he achieved remarkable fame during his lifetime, and to this day exerts significant influence on many of Russia's popular musicians and actors years after his death.

I think this is Diana Ankudinova’s greatest achievement so far. Thanks for a cool reaction! My best guess is that there was an inaccuracy in the translation, because she said elsewhere that her vocal teacher (who sadly died about a month after this performance) was instrumental in crafting this performance. My guess is that she was advised that it was risky to attempt this, which is true! It is, as you say, a very deep and difficult song. Furthermore, it has a very important place in Russian culture, so she cannot escape comparisons to the performances by the author, V Vysotsky, which are highly revered.

A complex and emotionally costly song, replete with a lot of allegories, and this is definitely not a song for a 16-year-old teenager, but Diana coped with all 1000%, I have never heard such a performance of this song from anyone except the author himself!!! Thank you for your reaction!

Fastidious Horses Along the ledge of the abyss, on the very edge of it, I lash my horses out, urging them on... Running out of air, I drink the wind, I swallow the fog, I feel with a damned extasy that I am done for, done for! Slow down a bit, my horses, slow down! Don’t listen to the tight whip! But I got some fastidious horses - I didn’t finish living, now my song will be cut short. I will let my horse’s drink; I will finish my verse - For a moment, at least, I will stand on the edge... When I am gone - the hurricane will sweep me, a snowflake off the palm, And horses will pull my sleigh at full speed on the snow that morning, Pace yourselves, my horses, Lengthen the way to my last shelter, even for a little bit! Slow down, my horses, slow down! The whip is not your overseer! But I got some fastidious horses - I didn’t finish living, now my song will be cut short. I will let my horse’s drink; I will finish my verse - For a moment, at least, I will stand on the edge... We’ve come in time: there is no such thing as being late for God, - Why do then those angels sing so viciously? Or is it a bluebell that grew numb from sobbing? Or is it me, crying for the horses not to carry the sleigh so fast?! Slow down a bit, my horses, slow down! I beg you, do not tear away at such mad pace! But I got some fastidious horses - I didn’t live enough, at least I should finish my song! I will let my horse’s drink; I will finish my verse - For a moment, at least, I will stand on the edge.

Fastidious Horses On a rugged cliff, the very edge, above the endless chasm I keep lashing at my horses with my whip clenched in a spasm But the air is growing thinner, I am gasping, drowning, crying I can sense with horrid wonder, I am vanishing, I'm dying chorus: Slow your gallop, oh my horses! Slow your gallop I say! Don't you listen to my stinging whip! But the horses I was given, stubborn and so unforgiving, Can't complete the life I'm living, cant conclude the verse I'm singing I will stop for a blink, I will let horses drink For a brief second more, I will stand on the brink... I will perish, as a feather that the hurricane has swallowed, In a chariot they'll pull me through the snow in blinding gallop All I ask of you my horses, slow your pace but for a moment To prolong the final seconds of approach to my last comfort. chorus We have made it. Right on time, God has left us with few choices But the why are angels singing with such fiendish scolding voices, Or it that the horse bell ringing in a frenzy drenched with tears, Or is it I the one who's screaming for my horses to shift gears? final chorus: Slow your gallop, oh my horses! Slow your gallop I say! Don't you listen to my stinging whip! But the horses I was given, stubborn and so unforgiving,24 Can't complete the life I'm living, at least let me finish lyricstranslate.com
