"It's about 1000 feet down. If you fall, you will die." Glad you don't mince words, Cris.

When people says like that you actually take it much more seriously because by his tone he is letting you know that it's your choice and no one cares 😂

The geology of the Horseshoe Bend is wonderful, not only this perfectly shaped river meander but also the Navajo Sandstone in which it is incised. The Colorado River has such a steep slope here that this geological layer isn't even present anymore when you reach the beginning of the Grand Canyon itself. And for anyone who is a Creationist and believes that the Grand Canyon was dug out by a violent flood: You wouldn't get a delicate meander structure like this by a giant flood wave, only by a river like we see it with the Colorado River. So the Horseshoe Bend is directly refuting the flood claim by its existence.

I visited last may and some guy hopped over the rail to pose for a picture. I turned my head because he was insanely close to the edge. I didn't want to see a death. a fall doesn't only ruin your family's life but it affects vacationers who witness a fall

Definitely a great place for a short but rewarding hike with absolutely amazing views!

We're starting to plan a trip out to Sedona next fall and this is on our list! I'm thinking it should be pretty quiet in November :) Horseshoe bend is on the list. Love your content as always

Thank you, and yea, it's a nice time because it's cooler but it's a crapshoot whether a tour bus or 10 is there when you are.

Some people are so annoying, but this is expected at such a location. I'm glad that drones are not allowed, at least.

I've done many road trips throughout Utah and have been to Page twice, coming from Colorado. I absolutely love Page. Horseshoe Bend is also really cool but you'll definitely experience tourism and sweat like no other during the summer 😅 Also I don't know what it is, but the absolute majority of the tourists coming from the tour bus are always East Asians. It's cute the type of cameras they bring.

When is the best time of year to visit?

I was there in July during a weekday and since it was summer, I thought the place would be over-crowded. It wasn't and perhaps that was due to the heat. All in all, I had no problem with either parking or taking whatever photos I needed.

Hey man thanks for the video. I’m thinking about proposing to my lady here soon and thought that would be a cool place to do it. Would you a suggestion as to where would be the best spot? Any info helps. Thanks!

This is a nice spot but crowded - you might want to hike down and then go away from the crowds somewhere around here: 36.88236150934504, -111.5103919297446

While you can't operate a drone while being in a national park, there is no FAA rule that doesn't allow you to fly a drone from that parking lot. So the signed at this point has no meaning.

Why don't they just build A fence everywhere instead of just some places
@yessiperezz5 ай бұрын
a fence already kill the view ! fence all around will be worse! just be careful and don't be stupid to take risks pictures!
