I live about a 25 minute drive from Horseshoe Curve and I've visited it several times. Went hiking in the mountains around it and was able to see a train stretching from one end to the other. It was purely amazing

Stringlines... most likely caused by those empty center-beams that honestly should have been at the end of the trains :( I don't blame the curve for that, nor the crew. Similar to what happened in Harper's Ferry. Many dispatchers don't realize the curves. On their displays, everything is linear. Stopping then restarting mid-curve with empty mid-train cars can be a risky move.
